HARDT ANTOINE is a London based DJ producer of French and West Indian descent, who continuously combines his hugely colourful and eclectic taste in music. He has also made a name for himself with his Reculture label and club nights.

His KOMPAKT debut clearly shows why he’s one to watch in the years to come. “Nobody’s Watching” is a dark grooving beast with bending synth lines and a haunting vocal; counterbalanced with uplifting Eastern analog pads. It’s from this rare breed of tracks that shine in a frantic peak time set and sexy late night moments alike.

“All We See” follows a similar path. Its mandatory bassline and dark melody evolve into something uplifting, as if to say – ‘We always see light at the end of our tunnel’.

Radial takes a more cinematic approach and largely neglects the dancefloor in a classic KOMPAKT 3-track EP fashion, following a lovely tradition that began with Dettinger’s KOM 2 and later on spawned the Pop Ambient movement.

Around Midnight is back with a new release by the talented Ary Sya from the French Riviera. Ary is a talent on the rise in the indie and progressive electronic music scene. With over 15 releases on notable labels, including Connected, Sound Of Khemit and Cafe De Anatolia to name a few, Ary joins Around Midnight with his EP “1999”. This EP includes 3 original tracks and 2 remixes.

With his EP ′′1999′′, Ary Sya take us back to the good old days of Deep house music with his energetic sounds. His track ′′1999′′ transcend the opposites, the day and the night, the light and the darkness ; with it’s robotic vocals and a roaring baseline, assorted with a nice progression of chords.

′′White Smoke′′ puts the groove forward with two beautiful voices mixing and dancing together. This track drives us directly into a sunset on a beautiful beach surrounded by friends.

And, with ′′Acid Night′′, we are immediately taken into the night. Aimed for dark and endless nights in your favorite club, this track brings back the strong beats in the middle of the dance floor with enchanting voices and a deep percussion that you won’t be able to stop moving to.

A special touch by Roderic comes in the form of mesmerizing vibes with his remix of ′′1999′′. The very talented Roderic, known for creating journeys that you don’t want an ending to and having an incredible sense of creating mystical atmosphere that you just simply want more of, delivers a deep remix with his deep yet joyful clubbing beats.

Meloko, for his second collaboration with Around Midnight, is accompanied by the French producer Konvex & The Shadow. Their interpretation turns ′′1999′′ into an essential club anthem with a powerful progressions in the main break and by strengthening the bassline.

Emerging talent Ayan steps up to Elif's ever more influential Marginalia label with the superb 'Brownian Motion' EP  which comes with a remix from EdOne. The new release follows Ayan's single 'Chimes' on Marginalia's first compilation earlier this year and he also looks forward to featuring on the second VA release in 2025.

Ayan is a new school star with credits already on the likes of Kinetic and Blindfold. He is known for exploring new artistic relays and serving up sonic stories that are emotional and innovative. He has had support from big names like Aera, Elif, Skala, Yubik and Baime and is inspired by everything from funk, rock, bass and soul. 

'Brownian Motion' is brilliantly warm and heavy with a textured bassline driving it along under warped synth sounds that grind throughout the mix. It's an electrifying cut that will flip the dance floor inside out. The fantastic 'Restrained Circuits' is an atmospheric, stripped back and percussive cut with wiry electronics and tense chords that keep you in suspense. Glassy textures and glitchy machine sounds give it a sense of unique futurism that really stands out.

Also on board is remixer EdOne, EdOne is a Spanish talent who has released on all of the scene's most recognised labels from Innervisions to Suara, Mood to Still vor Talent and Multinotes as well as his own label Surrealism. He has been leading from the front for the last decade plus and always brings great craft to his works while also DJing around Europe, including a performance at Marginalia's first label showcase.

EdOne's tracks have charted in the Top 10 on Beatport around 15 times, and he frequently receives support from big names such as Dixon, Ame, Adriatique, Maceo Plex, John Digweed, Oliver Koletzki, Nicole Moudaber, and others. His remix of 'Brownian Motion' is a punchy and melodic groove with beautiful pads rising up through the mix as the chattery percussion keeps the grove moving.
