With hypnotic rhythms, innovative synthesis, surreal atmospherics, and driving basslines, this compilation takes the listener on a journey through the full spectrum of techno. Behold, SHFT! A wizard of sound. A master of texture, and a creator of driving, progressive dimensions that propel oneself into parts unknown.

'Abyss' is a piece destined for the more gentle and personal moments. Whilst it still has great danceability, its subdued speed and patient nature lends to a shut-eye experience. It wouldn't be a SHFT track without exceptional sound design, which perpetuates throughout. Noticeably in the breakdown with the wonderfully squelchy acid sounds. Abyss is a ideal example of SHFT's experience and past in progressive music.
