Wassu will always hold a special mantle at the TOR imprint, as the man who inaugurated the label with his Andu EP in 2020. Since then, the New Yorker has turned heads with a string of prolific releases on the likes of Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, and When We Dip XYZ. With each passing project, Wassu's mastery of warm melodies and boastful basslines deepens. His latest offering, the Not So Random EP, is distinct sign of his current studio soundscapes, and showcases the ever-evolving sound of the wizardly Wassu.

The title track Not So Random opens with a driving kick drum moving us right into high gear. A throbbing bassline widens the breadth, as classic piano chords bring a touch of the timeless. Energy elevates through the build, rich with reverb, as the big kick returns to offer quintessential dancefloor moments.

On the B-side Loux, Wassu brings a touch of percussive flavor to greet a very playful underbelly. Progressive tones reach deep into the cosmos to twinkle the senses, as floating melodies and distant vocal chops surge us towards higher planes.

Closing out the trio is Club 201, merging melodic movements to showcase Wassu's sound at its most magical. Rhythmic and riveting synthetics swirl, allowing a deep groove to cut through and send sun-drenched dancefloors into euphoria.

Enigma, polymath, visionary, DJ, producer, musician, artist: Andrew Bayer has been a cornerstone of Anjuna for over a decade. 

He's been responsible for the most experimental and ambitious artist albums on Anjunabeats. His 2011 debut ‘It’s Artificial’ merged glitch-hop, electronica and prog house, while on 2013’s ‘If It Were You, We’d Never Leave’ he pushed the envelope further with a critically-acclaimed journey of electronica and sunny, instrumental hip-hop. 2018's ‘In My Last Life’ wove the emotive songwriting of Ane Brun and Alison May into a modern alt-pop masterpiece.

His fourth studio album ‘Duality’, is one of his most ambitious works to date. ‘Duality’ pt. 1, released on August 12, 2022, explored Bayer’s passion for downtempo and indie-pop, while ‘Duality’ pt. 2, which followed on October 26, 2022, aimed firmly at the dancefloor, exploring Bayer’s forward-thinking trance and progressive sound. 

Supported by Sirius XM's Diplo and Liquid Todd, BBC Radio 1's Annie Nightingale and KCRW's Jason Bentley, ‘Duality’ was met with acclaim from fans. Tracks from the album took centre stage on Andrew’s ‘Duality’ album tour; Group Therapy 500 in Los Angeles; Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge and Dockyards London; Anjunabeats Miami and Austin, and his recent support slots for Seven Lions on the ‘Journey III’ tour.

A key theme behind ‘Duality’ is collaboration. The album featured an eclectic cast of collaborators, friends old and new: Asbjørn, Alison May, Audrey Brazelle, Dave Thomas Junior, Kaleena Zanders and more. The ‘Duality’ (Remixed) package continues this motif, with Andrew collaborating with Farius, Alex Sonata & TheRio and Elevven on club mixes of ‘Under Pressure’, ‘Equal’ and ‘Matriarch’ respectively. 

Anjunabeats Rising graduate and emerging star Laura van Dam contributes a progressive mix of ‘Chaos’, while label mainstay Genix adds a techno spin to album opener ‘No Silence’ - Genix and Bayer previously released ‘The Test’ in December 2020, and worked together on a club mix of ‘Hold On To You’ from Bayer’s ‘In My Last Life’ album. Matt Lange returns to the label after nearly four years to rework ‘I Would’, and album collaborator Kaleena Zanders’ ‘Broke It’ mix offers an electronica twist on uplifting Pride anthem ‘Break The Rules’. The remix package concludes with a stripped-down version of ‘Equal’, recorded at Above & Beyond’s Hello Studios in September 2022.

One of Arrival's core artists, Russian artist Gregory Esayan, has previously showcased his talent with EPs such as "One Way Ticket" and "Cold Breath". His music has been supported by the likes of Solarstone, Jaytech, Ruben De Ronde, and Boom Jinx, and since his first appearance on Silk in 2012, he has only continued to present listeners with unique and uplifting songs. We're extremely proud to present Gregory's debut artist album, "Impressionism", on Arrival, featuring 10 inspiring progressive cuts. 

The title track begins with a hypnotic female speech segment, while Gregory's signature arpeggio lines build up in the background. "On The Horizon" features unique guitar riffs and gorgeous vocal effects. The break introduces lush piano lines, as well as intricate percussion stems. A splendid atmosphere is quickly established in "Your Warmth", the break of which sees the introduction of outstanding synth work and various sound effects. Previously featured as a single on parent label Silk Digital which reached #35 on the Beatport Breaks Top 100 chart, "Starman" features a stunning breakbeat and wonderful layered melodies. "Once More", featuring Japanese pop singer and song-writer Ai Takekawa, is a blissful song composed of Ai's beautiful vocals and Gregory's unmistakably well-crafted melodies and textures. Starting out with space-inspired radio chatter, "Call Of Space" features smooth percussion elements, as well as enjoyable string layers that we witness in the break. "Drawing The Life" starts out with a wealth of interesting sound effects and well-crafted female vocal stems. The soundscape slowly evolves, and is beautifully supported by subtle guitar riffs. Ai Takekawa makes her second appearance on this album in "Monday Night". The memorable chorus hook is smoothly enhanced by the vast array of unique melodies. Starting out with a tremendous atmosphere with wondrous sound effects, "Pilgrimage" features a prominent bassline groove and goose bumps-inducing sounds throughout the entire song. Norwegian finest Espen returns to PHW Elements after a short spell away and we are of course glad to see this productive producer join back on our imprint. He’s been among us for many years now and we are always excited to see him send us material. This time he returns with a deep and atmospheric original, this named as “Say Something”. With his natural way of building tension through deep kicks, smooth percussion work and his always creative ways of building through his pads, he once more proves he is a stand out producer that always will be welcomed back to our family. He’s surely a producer we always had high thoughts about and this is another way of showing his true skills of progressive vibes. 

On remix duty we see returning artists on the label with Moscow bound Meeting Molly making his way back. Through his alias, Anton is quickly building his reputation as a deep house/progressive producer that has the full plethora of sounds to work with. Here he builds up a fantastic rework of “Say Something” with his superb synth riffs that give a different vision of this beauty. We always love to include his music, it’s a producer to really have close eyes on over the coming year. He's absolutely brilliant in everything he does. 

Rounding things of, is another welcome return on the label as Argentina based Ape Sapiens makes his way back on PHW Elements. We have always kept an eye on Cico and his productions and we are thrilled to finally see him back with us. With a fantastic groove built on, he takes his twist a bit more aggressive and energetic than the previous versions. He just put a great progressive monster on the table here and we can’t thank him enough for taking time and making his way back with us. 

All in all a superb release of deep vibes, just as we want it on our PHW Elements division!
