Compound Fusion is a collaboration album featuring 18 joint productions. Keen followers of my social media channels will have noticed posts from studio sessions with the likes of K-Complex, Lost Soul, Desire, Ectomorph & Afterburner. Over the last 18 Months, I've spent hours combining, ideas, techniques, and talents to conjure up this amazing body of work which I can't wait for you all to hear. Musically, I'm super proud of the diverse soundscapes we've cooked up and I feel the general vibe has become tougher, bouncier, and more unpredictable - something reminiscent of the early Nu Energy material.

Compound Fusion is available as a digital download or limited edition double CD.

CD 1 features an exclusive DJ mix from myself.

CD two is a data disk featuring MP3 versions of all the singles as extended singles & streaming edits.

The digital download version also features the DJ mix and extended singles as MP3 and Wav. There will be a general release of radio/streaming edits of the singles to all digital streaming stores.

With an unmistakable sound that pays homage to a classic era of freeform's past, but realised via ultra-modern production values, their latest two-tracker is sure to please old and new fans alike. On the Yin side 'Serious Sh*t' is a rip roaring club-focused cut, designed to devastate the dancefloor in a peak-time freeform set. On the Yang 'Future World' takes a more experimental approach to doing the damage, twisting through some unexpected tempo changes to arrive at its destination - furious freeform central! Overall this is a brilliant debut EP from the Digital Commandos, and the perfect fit for Stamina Records no. 44.

Matekk is a DJ and Producer from Bern and also co-founder of the new swiss event label "Dartek" / @dartek-events. 

He found his love for electronic music early at the age of 14 at first with Goa and its subgenres. Then later on at 18 he switched to Hardtechno where he also started mixing. But then he quickly found his real passion for Hardcore and Hardtrance.

Starting from 170 bpm up to 200 this mix shows a wide variety of genres and also different vibes. The Digital Commandos live hard dance act was born in late 2004 for a college project and before long were booked to appear at the Back to the Future Hogmanay party later that year at The Carling Academy appearing alongside established artists.
Since then the Digital Commandos have appeared at major events/venues across Scotland for promoters such as Back to the Future, Fantazia, Rezerection, Judgement Day performing at venues such as Braehead, O2 academy(4times).
The debut Digital Commandos EP entitled "The Digital Revolution EP" was signed to freeform`s number 1 label Nu Energy Collective and was the first EP to be released by Nu Energy on a digital format and subsequently was featured in Mixmag`s review section.
The tail end of 2008 saw the DC`s follow up EP "Dancefloor Warfare"once again released on the massive Nu Energy label, featuring once again 3 tracks of the bands own brand of high energy dance music.
2009 has saw the Digital Commandos receiving regular airplay on Clyde 1`s massive GB Experience saturday night dance show and in Dec 2009 Digital Commandos took to the Clyde 1 turntables for an exclusive guest mix on the GB Experience bringing freeform into the homes of Scotland at saturday night peak time on a commercial dance show.
