how does that already feel like a year ago?

featuring some fav bits in my rotation, starting with chill/technical/jazzy garage, moving into a moody dubstep catharsis, followed by a bright sundrenched finish.

Iyasu is an electronic artist and DJ who brings a raw, immersive sound that lives somewhere between meditative and menancing. Iyasu weaves together dubwise pressure and textural depth, grounding his sets in low-end exploration and soulful distortion. He has spent the last two years showcasing a vault of unreleased material, live-scratched, and deeply atmospheric, offering a glimpse into his constantly evolving sonic world.

He has been involved with the Denver music scene for the last 7 years, helping start the Wildflower Arts Collective as well as collaborating & providing support for various music collectives such as Pomegranate Sounds & Dub Den Records. He released his debut EP ‘Espial’ on Simic Records in March of 2023 to officially kick off the project.
