Ricardo Sánchez (Digital Mystic) biography:

Dj, producer and electronic artist from the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

 He began his career in electronic music in 2015 after spending much of his adolescence and early adult life as a drummer and musician in various rock and alternative music projects. 

This experience was what marked the beginning of his path as an electronic music producer and DJ, captivated by all the artistic and sound possibilities offered by this genre, as well as by the programs and different virtual and analog instruments thanks to which, according to his concept, the creative process reaches infinite levels. Since then, it has been able to consolidate itself as an important part of the electronic scene on the Caribbean coast, having the opportunity to play in its land alongside local, national and international artists such as Nitin (London, Ontario - No.19 music), Saquib (New York - Eb and flow music - Sol selectas), Lost boy (Toronto - For the people, Warung Music), Sebastian Lauth (Berlin, Germany), Gio Colonna (Octava), Fiona Beeson (Beesound Recordings), Mellos brothers ( Bogotá), Dj Vanch (Bogotá), Deerod (Bogotá, Eclipse club), Javier Duque (Droid 9 - Balkan Connection - Oz land music), Gux Jiménez ( Perspectives digital - Particles - Oz land music), Cesar Caballero (Groove Garden) among other important names of the national electronic circuit. 

He is currently working on what will be his first album as an electronic artist, in which all the genres and influences that he has been able to collect in these years of career are reflected, among which is melodic techno, melodic house, organic house and other more experimental styles such as downtempo, electronica, lo-fi, ambient, Colombian folklore and other music rhythms from different cultures around the world.

Dj, productor y artista electrónico de la ciudad de Cartagena de indias, Colombia.


Empieza su carrera dentro de la música electrónica en el año 2015 luego de ocupar gran parte de su adolescencia e inicios de su vida adulta como baterista y músico en varios proyectos de rock y música alternativa. Esta experiencia fue lo que marcó el inicio de su camino como productor y dj de música electrónica, cautivado por todas las posibilidades artísticas y sonoras que ofrece este género, al igual que por los programas y diferentes instrumentos virtuales y analógicos gracias a los cuales, según su concepto, el proceso creativo alcanza niveles infinitos. 


A partir de entonces se ha logrado consolidar como parte importante dentro de la escena electrónica de la costa caribe, teniendo la oportunidad de tocar en su tierra junto a artistas locales, nacionales e internacionales tales como Nitin (London, Ontario - No.19 music), Saquib (New York - Eb and flow music - Sol selectas), Lost boy (Toronto - For the people, Warung Music), Sebastian Lauth (Berlín, Germany), Gio Colonna (Octava), Fiona Beeson (Beesound Recordings), Mellos brothers (Bogotá), Dj Vanch (Bogotá), Deerod (Bogotá, Eclipse club), Javier Duque (Droid 9 - Balkan Connection - Oz land music), Gux Jiménez ( Perspectives digital - Particles - Oz land music), Cesar Caballero (Groove Garden) entre otros nombres importantes del circuito electrónico nacional.


En el presente se encuentra trabajando en lo que será su primer álbum como artista electrónico, en el cual se plasman todos los géneros e influencias que ha podido recopilar en estos años de carrera, entre los cuales está el melodic techno, melodic house, organic house y otros estilos más experimentales como el downtempo, electronica, lo - fi, ambient, folclor colombiano y otros ritmos de música de diferentes culturas del mundo.
