It's been a while! 

Seriously, I have been collecting tracks since the end of last year, and it has taken me until now to put a mix together where I really love all of the tracks.

Never any filler, and rarely ever a track played more than once in my mixes - always fresh!

Between life and learning to produce DNB it has been a task to make this a reality - but here it is, and it's heavy!

So I have been away from uploading mixes for a while now, and it has been because I have been spending my time learning to produce Drum and Bass!

The desire to control the sound that I play has been growing until I could not contain it anymore!

It's a massive climb uphill to learn how to produce music, as the more you learn, the more you learn that you don't know!

It is still very early days yet, but this track was a bit of fun that I thought you could vibe to!

10.09.17 - NME Back From The Dead Mix - Free Download

This is a mix I have that I recorded from a tape I bought back in 1995 from a local record shop. 

This is such a sick mix by Jon Pleased Women, and he never fails to impress. I always loved the way he tends to play House from the harder end of the spectrum (even back in 1995).

I don't know if anyone has a higher quality version anywhere, but there are some seriously sick tunes on here that I would love to get my hands on - especially the tune with the Pulp Fiction sample in it! 

If anyone can name that tune, please let me know in the comments!

Ok this is a mix I have uploaded after being given a tape that I recorded this onto back in 1999!

Yes - a tape - do you remember those?

Sound quality could be better, and I was really stuggling with finding a decent set of monitors - but the tunes are awesome.

Some of the mixes are a bit "cross fader happy" but HEY! I was young, and still learning.... 

Big thanks to Tango for picking up quite a few of these tunes in Spain! 

At the time nobody had heard of half of these tunes, and then he brought them home and we made this mixtape.



Hard House Mix (Super Old Skool 22.7.99 - DigitalNME Mix - Free Download!)

This a 1 hour mix taken from my set @ Subvert DNB on the 04.05.19.

It went off in here, and the crowd were mental. 

Some epic vocal breaks and some bone shattering drops from Gydra, Noisia and others make up this mix, and it is one to again, play very loud.

I love the power of Noisia, Mefjus, Prolix, A.M.C. along with many others, and so have created a mix with these sounds embedded in it, but punctuated with some well placed vocals and dredd bass.

This is a loud and in your face mix that takes you on an audio journey across 2 and a half hours of unending madness from the Drum and Bass scene!

A great collection of tunes from what's being rinsed now, and really allows you to get into it as it's longer than the usual mixes.

I even added the extra Predator samples for good measure...

NME: Lockdown - Neuropunk Drum & Bass Mix April 2020

If I cast my mind back to when I first sold everything I had to buy my first (belt drive) decks years ago, and I think how far I've come to this point right now - making this mix brings home how I have improved over time.

I'm really pleased with this mix, and I'd go as far as to say, it's perhaps one of my best, if not - the best I've done.

It feels like I have found my home in Neuro DNB.
