One Million Toys has been on our radar for some time. He has released alot of music already on many labels and rightfully so. OMT delivers! On this EP he treats us on two tracks: Bloom and Pathways. Bloom is a melodic technoid trancy track that pushes you forward. The lead melody lays down the entire journey for this one. Pathways is a bit bolder. A bit tougher. A dirty lead. A lovely drop. Plenty of atmosphere. Who said lower bpms could pack some punch? This just grooves and moves. Where is that dusty dancefloor? This track needs to be played!

OMT - Bloom EP

Ben Rama delivered a dark and brooding techno track with a trance vibe for Techgnosis records in 2020. If a misty mountain meadow from a troll movie ever needed a soundtrack, this is it. And our own Nozem remixed it. He added a punchy kick, rolling bassline and drenched it in some acid, turning it into a stormy steamy swampy dance floor smasher. Mastered by Anti-Logic Mastering.

On Pentapod Nozem takes a journey into an alien technoid landscape. A mysterious world based on a psytrance feel filled with technoish percussion and sounds. You can easily imagine the alien insectoids walking around. Pentapod opens with a strong percussive track. Trippy fx and leads that roam the surface of a distant planet. Techno tapas is a journey to the alien tripod jungle. It is the twilight zone where daylight monkeys introduce the night with their calls. In Lorre the aliens take control over the 303. They deliver a spacious track with an analog feel going from laid back to driving dancefloor frenzy.

Dynamic Void and Supergroover venture into the lands of the retro sound together. Rafelrand and Fire both have a retrovibe to them, but with a modern quality. Rafelrand is a melodic energetic track with acidic edges. No time for long breaks, we gotta keep going! Friendly dancefloor vibes. Fire is filled with atmospheric sounds oozing through your ears. The acid dripping through your speakers makes you long for those sunny afternoon festival summer days... Enjoy your caipirinha! 
Ethica reworked Fire into a more contemporary full on track with a lovely metalic lead pulling you through the track, while using the original sounds mostly for the atmosphere. Full of energy just as the other tracks on the EP.

Dynamic Void & Supergroover EP

Crackpot brings a acid techy vibe to the table. The vibe is energetically laid back, as weird as that may sound. It's got energy but also sounds kinda mellow. No need to add salt and pepper though. Especially not when the acid starts to kick in!

El Muro & Nazar have created two nice tracks that ooze melodic progressive techno with trancy influences. Say no to hugs has got the groove, the funk, but also it has a lovely trance-inducing melody. Not sure what the vocal is talking about though. Edge of the abyss is a bit stronger and driving. It really sits nicely in between techno and psytrance. A hypnotic stomper of a track!

Fraud runs at 125 bpm in the direction of more classic techno, but you certainly hear the psytrance influences in the FM stabs and trippy evolving sounds. Stalker runs a little faster: 128 bpm. It has that psytrancey gallop with techno sprinkled on top. Halfway through the track the main melody is introduced, releasing the tension for a melody that has been building up! Is it trancy? Is it techno? It is El Muro & Nazar!

A super cosy and friendly festival in a beautiful area and the dance floor next to a little creek. Great and sweet organisers. Highly recommended!
They asked for a set from night time through dawn into the daylight. "When the day destroys the night". From higher to a lower bmp, towards the light. So Ethica improvised a bit,  and gave it a spin.

Supergroover @ Radio Maxi 16 - 12 - 2023 Audio

File under psytechno. Taavi delivers a track that is on the minimal side. Minimal often leaves a lot of space for groove and funk. And that is certainly the case with 'It's fun". The bassline is playful, bouncy and elastic, constantly changing. Turn up the volume and enjoy the music!

DJ Nozem at Digital Nomads Records party at the Wibar 17-05-2024

At the amazing Familiar Forest Festival I did the only psytrance dj set of the festival, following a line up of mostly melodic house and techno. So I started slow and built up quickly. The bpms went flying from 132 to 145 in under two hours. Thanks to the lovely crowd I had a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy the set.
