After losing most of the master recordings of some of the older digital.RITUAL tracks, it became necessary to rely on copies from friends who had downloaded the songs before. This track was in pretty poor shape, and this was the best I could do to restore it. 

It's kind of a fun track - lots of energy. Previously titled "Incoming," it got a new name along with a few audio touch-ups.  This is the 10-year anniversary for this track. Hard to believe so much time has passed. Hope you enjoy - digital.RITUAL

Escaping Elysium / Incoming (remastered)

During a rather heated online debate amongst fellow music producers, I was challenged, or rather told that I "couldn't produce any "REAL" dance music," I set out to prove my detractor wrong, after which, this track was intended to be a "B-side" on an upcoming single. 

That never happened, however, and now, nearly eight years later, "Reach" has been re-discovered, re-touched, and re-issued, or actually issued for the first time for friends, family, and fans, here on SoundCloud. Hope you enjoy - digital.RITUAL

I began writing music at 17 prior to several years of piano lessons and later being self-taught on bass guitar. While living in Aberdeen, Scotland, I started producing music electronically, building a home studio and DJ-ing briefly  in 1998 under the name of Junkieman. After moving back to the US, I changed the name of the project to digital.RITUAL to better reflect the style and the spirit of collaboration, and started working with other independent artists, releasing an EP, a full-length CD, and licensing music to MTV, several videos, independent films, and shorts.

Today, digital.RITUAL is back with new material, and putting together the first full-length release in more than five years.
