This one's a bit dirty and I'll clean it up. It had been irking me for a while to see if these two grooves could work together, so I finally decided to see if I could get it to work.

It does pretty well I think. There's some more layers I'm planning on playing with...I'd love it if there we actually a studio Acapella of Royals OR Paul Revere...alas..there's neither available (yet). 

This one's fun though I think.

Lorde Vs. Beastie Boys - Lorde Paul Revere (Ronyn's Whiffle Ball Bat Mashup)

Had this one jump into my brain and had to cut it up. Works pretty well. Could use a bit more fine tuning, but it works for the time being!

LOVE the vibe of both of these incredibly well written songs, so wanted to see if they could co-exist.

Unholy Violet (Sam Smith / Connor Price Mashup)

Original composition just designed to be trippy. Lots of mix between tribal and vocal samples and synth parts. 

Swaying Groove

Another attempt to create a virtual "acid" band. Lots of sampled instruments and was going for that "Cafe" acid jazz / pseudo groove mix.

Humidor Del Sol

My take on the late late 90's big beat phenomenon. I was emulating a Fatboy Slim type production with this one just figuring out how to mix up beats / splices of samples, etc.

So wayyy back in the day...our funk band had a rehearsal studio that was next to one of the most insane bands ever. Instead of a drummer they used a sequencer with cannon and gunfire. This track was written in homage to them.

What do you get with some bass samples...a funky ass beat...some turntable samples? Well it's a virtual Jam session..or as I call it..Jelly.

Jelly Session (Chia Pet Funk)

This track started off as just playing around with synths and a bunch of crazy stuff I had sampled and tweaked. It ended up being one of my favorite tracks...a bit retro even for when it was being written in the early 2000's. 

Ungodliness

Designed as a fight scene track...matrix style.  Lots of original synth work in this one...I was pushing the bounds of filters and programming of the xv3080 on this one.  I then added a bit of a Escape from New York work at the end that ended up sounding closer to Portishead than anything. One of my favorites since I spent so much time on the solo at the end..one of my only keyboard solos I've ever actually liked. 

Way Of The Sword

The close out track for the album...a wind down of sorts.

Had this one land in my brain and needed to make it happen. My daughter is Army and she approves!
