Psyko Disco was a legendary super psychedelic project that released one album and few singles on the groundbreaking Australian label Psy-Harmonics in the 90s. I was a huge fan of the project and the label so when Ace Ventura approached me and suggested we do a remix together of this ultimate classic which I used to play in my sets I was very happy. “It’s Not Tomorrow Yet” is meant to capture a journey. It’s reflecting the feeling of moving from confusion and tension into comfort and resolution. The atmosphere comes through unconventional sound design, harmonic tension, and layers of evolving texture.
When I’m lost, confused, or unable to make decisions I tell myself that it’s not tomorrow yet.
I believe Tomorrow the mind and spirit will likely be calmer and clearer. This is a track about depth, clarity, an inner journey and a reminder to myself and to anyone listening, that it’s not tomorrow yet.
