Sometimes it's good to slow down the machines to get another look at your work. It seems that tempo limitation brings a different inspiration, a new way to experiment.

For his third release on his own label, In Abstracto, Luxus Varta ventures into a downtempo exploration through a five track EP with a bittersweet flavour.

From the twisted snare of 'Genesis' to the eerie pads of 'Cria Cuervos', the mysterious French producer delivers once again a unique musical journey between melodic Electro and raw IDM, as an 'Ideal Fix'.

A Waje deberían conocerle de episodios tan gloriosos en la historia del clubbing subterráneo madrileño como son 8Z8 y el Colectivo Robotique, y ahora los proyectos Orbita y Moebium.  

Hay que decir que los de Post Club hemos crecido con Waje como profesor de escuela, mamando ávidamente de sus sesiones todoterreno en Specka en las que conjugaba con maestría electro, techno, drones y cualquier estilo nacido en los 80, ya sea New Beat, Industrial, EBM, Cold Wave y un largo etcétera. Lo que siempre nos dejó a cuadros es su capacidad para cambiar de estilos siempre logrando sonar a él mismo, amén de una técnica excelsa que le permite aguantar las mezclas un larguísimo tiempo. Pese a su veteranía, Waje siempre está al tanto de las novedades y siempre ha sabido incorporar nuevos lenguajes a su engrasada paleta de ritmos maquinales. El otro día tuvo a bien abrir el concierto de Esplendor Geométrico en el Centro Cívico Delicias de Zaragoza y que mejor para rebootear nuestra serie de podcasts que la sesión enlatada de tan ilustre evento. Waje o la rebelión de las máquinas.

There’s this guy who some might have not yet heard of. If that’s the case, now’s the time to pay attention. He had been sharing music online under different monickers for a while now. Some of Eindkrak’s stuff is now released on the Berlin label Unknown Precept. Beau Wanzer is a huge fan of his, so then it must be good. Yes, no pun intended. Humor however, is Eindkrak’s driving force. With his latest project Raum-Zeit together with Toni Quiroga they only keep elements in their tracks if it made them both laugh. They released on Amok tapes this summer, yet they recorded their upcoming one two weeks ago. Songs of that forthcoming one can be heard all throughout the mix. Elements of absurdity are indeed heard all throughout it too. Not all caused by Raum-Zeit, yet obviously thanks to Eindkrak for making this curation of sounds from likeminded minds. Like Maoupa Mazzocchetti and Beau, but also – an either previously unreleased or untitled – Le Syndicat from ’83 that will be released on Contort Yourself fits in perfectly into the absurd ordered chaos. It’s like having this trip or pleasant nightmare, where a vague giant purple dwarf sometimes gives some directions of what to observe in your mind or this other dimension next. And if at some point while listing to this mix you hear a small kid – who’s playing somewhere outside in your neighborhood -doing a perfect imitation of a howling wolf, it will feel metaphysically divine and fit scarily perfect in its absurdity. This mix actually contains mainly forthcoming and some maybe never to be released material by various artist. Murray CY, IXVLF, NGLY are a some of whom we can look out for. Keeping eyes on the labels Knekelhuis, Contort Yourself, L.I.E.S. & Unknown Precept is always a smart thing to do for body and spirit. Anyway, enough with the commercialism, back to Eindkrak, in his spare time he studies mathematics and physics at the University of Amsterdam. And apart from all his already named and unnamed projects, he also is part of a classical choir. So enjoying this mix in Minkowski space seemed highly appropriate.

Digital Tsunami 106 - Eindkrak

On his first release since 2014, @DVSNME has self-released a 15 track album featuring some of his most inspired music to date. This full-length effort pays homage to the traditional musical scales of Asian countries like Japan and China with a sonically varied collection of tracks that will leave the listener wanting more. The title of the album is a not-so-subtle nod to Electro pioneers Kraftwerk's 1977 'Trans Europe Express', with the album cover paying tribute to the Japanese art form of 'Nyotaimori', in which sushi or sashimi is served from the naked body of a woman. The album relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines from @Rolandcom and @Korg like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, and TR-909. DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called '@DarkScienceElectro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 10 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear and more. Andy Jaggers is a DJ, Producer, Label owner (Pyramid Transmissions Record), Events and club runner, radio show presenter. He was also records shop Owner at IQ records in the 90's !!

As a DJ, he has played at many festivals and clubs from Moscow to Miami and last year saw another tour of the US with Silicon Scally, Ben Milstein, EVAC, Ion Driver and 214. 

He also runs the Dodo Club and Frequency Resonate(with Errorbeauty) nights in London for the last 8 years.
