Vinilette is an electronic music artist with a past in radio, broadcasting, writing for music magazines and curation in her hometown of Barcelona and Berlin. After concentrating on numerous styles her mission became to combine different influences - coming from the electronics of the 80’s and 90’s - in DJing and production, with a taste for the raw, obscure and old school sounds. Her obsession with the unknown, searchs to challenge the listener and herself rather than fulfill expectations.
Vinilette has released EP's, compilations, remixes and edits on labels like In The Dark Again, Frigio Records, Italo Moderni, Maxima Culpa, Monika Enterprise & Fill-Lex records.

For the 31st edition we welcome E-bony aka @naor-dayan to our mix series, an up-and-coming DJ and producer from Tel Aviv’s underground, holding residencies at the infamous Alphabet Club and of the international well-known queer nights & label ‘PAG’, in addition to having releases on infamous labels such as Slow Motion, Wrong Era, Italo Moderni, Dalmata Daniel to name a few.

Naor, born and raised in one of Tel-Aviv’s somewhat challenging areas, got him fleeing to the city’s center at an early age, where he was exposed to Tel-Aviv’s electronic music scene, since this point E-bony has been developing unarguable taste and skill for music, in his productions and behind the decks you can hear a combination of Techno, Electro and Italo with a smooth movement between darkness, lights and groove.

Parrish Smith crafts a sound that’s both familiar and deeply inexplicable. Hovering between body music, electronica, industrial and deep-burning jakbeat yet rejecting the conventions of all them, his output is as elusive as it is absorbing. Inspired by personal experiences and his determination to keep evolving, Smith developed a distinctive sound derived from an all-analogue set-up, sampling every object that produces sound.

His signature raw machine wrangling gained attention from Nina Kraviz who released 2 tracks’ on her трип imprint, while the Dutch label Knekelhuis signed his debut EP: Virgin Of The World. Alongside Pankow, Helena Hauff and Perseus Traxx, Smith contributed to a split EP on Contort Yourself including a 4-tracker on L.I.E.S. records.

Parrish Smith will join Mannequin Records Nacht III on December 22nd at Säule / Berghain.
