As we enter our 26th year of existence, Turbo is constantly and violently shocked that exciting techno music is still being made. After a certain point, you expect yourself to look a genre square in the face and say “Enough!” But we consider ourselves the luckiest vanity imprint on the planet to be able to harness the talent of artists like Copenhagen-based DJ-producer Anastasia Kristensen and serve it up to you in this - your darkest hour.

Escaping the massive shadow of Norway’s hip-hop scene, ‘Moments of Inertia’ captures a sound that evokes nothing but itself, as though Kristensen were recording sub-rosa dimensional machinery at oblique angles and arranging the best parts with the kind of narrative grandeur most techno artists would never dare interrogate. It should also be noted that the track “Paradox & Puzzle" shares a name with Tiga’s moderately successful escape room gastropub.

The A1 ‘I’d Love To Do It’ leads with vivacious drum programming and Kristensen’s enigmatic vocals setting the stage for 'Paradox & Puzzle’ which shares a name with Tiga’s moderately successful escape room gastropub. The title track closes the show with slamming industrial tones, summarizing Anastasia’s bespoke futuristic flow.

If you think Turbo might start slowing down in its mid-20s, we respectfully ask you to get real. And while you’re at it, get a clue. ‘Cause we know in our heart of hearts that music can and will save the day, even if it’s just for just one day.

Proyecto de arte iniciado en el 2021. Coleccionista del tiempo y capturador de momentos. Director creativo y gestor de @ademancolectivo . Su experiencia sonora se basa en atmósferas viscosas, distópicas, tenebrosas y futuristas. Con presentaciones a lo largo de Chile en las distintas ciudades donde se resalta el underground electrónico del país (Santiago, Temuco, Valparaíso, y muchos más …) En 2024 prepara su primera gira internacional presentándose en los puntos icónicos de la escena no comercial de Buenos Aires, Rosario, Comodoro Rivadavia y Montevideo.

En la actualidad se encuentra desarrollando un proyecto de radio en streaming llamada “The last location” con sede en Chile.

This track pulses with sinister beats and enveloping soundscapes, transporting listeners into the depths of a haunted, smoke-filled bar, with creeping dread and relentless basslines, this is music for those who dwell on the edge of darkness. *"ZERO"* isn't crafted for the dancefloor, it's a lullaby to stir unease, an invitation to confront your fears in the quiet moments before the sleep.

Samuel “S S S S” Savenberg is one of the earliest members of the Haunter crew, presenting his project through 2014’s Administration Of Fear, bombing the horizon with a barrage of darkened, industrialized techno. Since 2015’s Just Dead Stars For Dead Eyes though, Haunter has become the home for his most progressive and forward-thinking releases. Absence could be considered the spiritual successor to that work, venturing even further into those same lands.

A thing’s sudden absence grants its permanence in memory, so, paradoxically, this time around it’s an experience closer to being explored than exploring, more like being invaded by an empty place than invading it. Savenberg’s absent spaces lay beyond the grasp of representation, manifesting in an unsettingly familiar way. They are traversed by telluric bass phenomena, over-scaled waves of sound that can take the shape of proper, kinetically charged breakbeats (ripe with processed 808 drums) or crumble into digitzed bits. Fellow Swiss producer GIL provides with a remix, combining a slowed-down dembow beat with the doomy electronics of the original.

Any superiority of long-term feelings or obligations over short-term ones is called discipline.
After the Kolaps EP on shtum, the Uncanny Valley crew is stoked to present a new bright chapter of the Polish-German friendship which resulted in Chino’s AUTOSTRADA. The musician, graphic wizard and all around good guy from Kraków carved four raw and gloomy soul anthems out of his machines to create a record that features a wide range of music which is still connected by a common feeling.
Our pick up here was DYSCYPLINA, where our favorite Polish producer turns to a wave/EBM approach. The result is a track that encourages anything but disciplined behaviour on the dance floor.
