Digitizer - Age Of Technology

Lee Cee started playing vinyl in 1997 and has always brought an eclectic sensibility to her sets, with varied taste in genres but mostly Acid, Electro and Techno.
She began her journey on the Free Party scene and as well as her hometown club, the legendary Club 69 in Paisley in 2002. Lee has played alongside legendary selectors such as DJ Pierre, Nightwave, Co-Accused, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Jerome Hill.

Lee has also been a resident for Tech-Know Radio on Glasgow’s Groove City station since 2019 and is well known for her diverse and infectious style, and an old school, intuitive approach to her all vinyl sets.

For this ParallaX mix the northern selector has, as always, graced us with a Vinyl only mix.

Lee wants to Shout out to Ara-U's new EP "No Future" on Co-Accused's label (CR003) which is out early August, there's a couple of tracks on this mix from it.

If David Lynch filmed a scene about some wild party, - this is the kind of music that should be playing there. Vintage synths, voices in reverse, noir disco and fatal passion - all this is a mix by @stieber_k. It was recorded at one of the Hybrid Moment parties in Kyiv. «During the party, I tried to create an experience that would hook the listener with my long hypnotic tracks and give them peace and contemplation. Starting with a slow and dark atmosphere, I set myself a task of smoothly transitioning into a more energetic rhythm. Move D is a true legend in deep, house music. We own A LOT of his records. When we found the track 'Wanna Do' on the 50th Groove magazine cd full of exclusive tracks, we contacted him to ask if he would be interested in a vinyl release. The track was too good to be only available through that cd. So Move D sent a second - also really great - track along, and the result is what you're listening to at the moment. The first 300 copies are available on marbled purple vinyl. Get yours.

DJ Dreibot is together with Ian Lee cofounder of abseits Recordings. The label is based
on parties called abseits which were celebrated in the end of the 90īs. They set the focus on 
unconventional music. Their goal is to present a variety of different music styles and art to blow up your mind. 
Dreibot is at home in creating electronical music and played in clubs, partys and a lot of famous radioshows 
(eg. FM4, Elektrodos, Tracklistings, Threads, Techno-Club, Arkada Podcast, Science Cult Radio etc...). 
Another important thing is in doing lotīs of enginbeering. The artist name is 3Bot.

Digitizer is the Electro project of Christian Askvig from Norway. He started making music in the early 90's. Since then he has made music in different genres under different aliases. 

Christian is a self-proclaimed "synth-freak" who uses his arsenal of analog synths and drum machines to create an atmosphere that can best be described as "dystopian-future music". His musical background ranges from early synth music to "New School Electro"

Digitizer's first digital release "Computer Controlled" from 2011 garnered rave reviews and recognition from the Electro community around the world.

In 2016 Digitizer released the 5 track digital EP "New World Order" on the label Tropical Underground.

This was followed by several releases on the Electro collection series "Time Capsule"(808 Box) which the renowned Electro producer Alek Stark releases on his own record company Fundamental Records.

In early 2022, Digitizer will release his first vinyl EP "Future Technology", featuring 5 hard-hitting and funky Electro songs with dystopian future themes. The EP will be released on the German record company Pulse Drift Recordings.
