The Elektricheskaya Sobaka band members have compiled recordings from their live performances. A year ago, the musicians deliberately refused to rehearse together, so all their interaction takes place during live sets. It was documented in the mix – electroacoustic swirls, crumbling and sinking rhythms, tickling the ears with electronic sound.

В микс попали композиции самых разных жанров. Первый час изобилует угаром — тут вам аутсайдерская репчина, девиантный поп, кислотный рок, индустриальное громыхание и наэлектризованный фри-джаз. Второй час наполнен красотой и нежностью — вы услышите дип-фьюжн от Слава Трио, гениальный лоуфайный хаус от Максима Елизарова, перегруженный басами этнойз от ташкентского музыканта Psy-Factor, пландерфонику от Богом забытого проекта Gapon и гимн любви от Новых Композиторов. 

Большинство треков не ещё не выпускались публично — что-то выйдет в ближайшее время на ТОПОТе, что-то так и останется ждать своего времени на рабочем столе самих исполнителей. Желаю вам глубоко погружения и весёлого музыкального путешествия!»

«I compiled this mix of my favorite tracks that have been accompanying me lately – the audio drugs that I’ve been using for the whole year. And now I want to share them with you for free, for fun! Ultimately I scooped up 2 hours worth of music. Some incredible stuff here!

I have played these tracks to many friends of mine and I want the rest of them to hear these sounds in their turn, so I'm thankful to the Fields podcast for this opportunity. Recently I realized that I love Russian music very much, despite all the circumstances. I love it for its originality, incredible sense of humor, heartiness, its balance of complexity and simplicity.

This mix covers many different genres. The first hour is full of wild and crazy stuff: outsider rap, deviant pop, acid rock, industrial rumble and electrified free jazz. The second one is more about beauty and delicacy: you can hear deep fusion from Слава Трио, genial lo-fi house by Maxim Elizarov, overdrived with basses enthno-noise from Tashkent-based musician Psy-Factor, plunderphonics from the Godforsaken artist Gapon and a love theme from New Composers.

Most of the tracks haven’t been released publicly yet – some of them will be released on ТОПОТ in the near future, while others will have to marinade, biding their time on the computers of their respective authors. I wish you a deep dive and a fun musical journey!»

Новый микстейп для нас записал селектор из Петербурга, ныне базирующийся в Тбилиси - мистер Vollok.

Как и подобает селекторским миксам, внутри нас ждёт много неочевидных поворотов, которые переплетаются между собой тоненькой нитью повествования, напоминая блуждание по дымным клубным коридорам, где из соседних залов то и дело доносятся звуки тихих призраков уходящей ночи. Придет утро, и от них не останется и следа.

Rainy night in August. You are returning home on the last bus. Outside, there's a sleeping neighbourhood, with black squares of store windows and apartment windows. The only other person in the bus besides you is an elderly man with a crossword puzzle in his hands, and an empty beer can rolling on the floor. Today was a busy evening filled with people and events, but all you can feel right now is tiredness and a slight sadness. The bus passes a 24-hour flower stall with a smoking saleswoman in the doorway, an abandoned van covered with tags on the side of the road, and an unlightened park where you once kissed a person whose face you can no longer remember. You need to get off at the next stop. You anticipate your hair, clothes, and favorite sneakers getting wet (you don't have an umbrella because you despise them). But it doesn't bother you because you'll be going home in the best possible company - a mix of settima tacca for 5/8: radio.
