Time for some Techno! We're proud to share with you Ben Seagren b2b Tara Brooks just after sunset on Sunday night at our Desert Hearts Spring Festival 2014. After a blissed out Sunday day, we knew Ben was going to throw down some dark techno to bring in night. Even though some technical difficulties kept Ben from being able to play a proper set by himself, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as he and Tara Brooks threw down one of the most psychedelic sets of the weekend. Enjoy MOONTIDE's Dj set from the Beat & Path label showcase at the Mova Art Gallery on Tuesday evening at the Global Eclipse Gathering. 

Here are some words from MOONTIDE,

"Now the dust has settled from a week out at the Eclipse festival its time to share this set with you. It was my first time witnessing an Eclipse and it was more unbelievably magical then I could have ever imagined! I am super grateful to have been able to play some music surrounded by my Beat&Path family the day after the eclipse, to add to to the magic the setting was in an art gallery with Amanda Sage amongst others painting live whilst we played surrounded with Alex Grey, Android Jones, Chris Dyer and many others stunning art. I had a few technical difficulties with my usual setup but it all flowed and this is the recording 🙂 🙂 
The opening is a recording I did of when the Eclipse was happening which still gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it. Thanks to all the Melbourne crew that came down and said hi whilst I was playing your all the best!

Lushpod #44 has been one of the more difficult podcasts to record.  After 4 attempts to record this episode, where technical issues and recording issues abound, I was finally able to record at the Midcity Art House. "As far as never before" is derived from a Julius Pappe song called "So wait wei noch nie", which has been running rampant on my playlist.  LP44 features tricks from Guille Placencia, Diskobeistat, Rey & Kjavik, Illy Noize, and DAVI.

I arrived on the train 10 minutes before my set. I saw Bellville doing an amazing job at lifting up the energy and the crowd and felt quite stressed indeed. When you see this machine roaring at its full potential as an artist about to play, it's quite overwhelming.
I started to play one, two, three tracks and felt amazing. Sharing my passion on the train is an intense feeling for me. I gave a lot during this set and the crowd response was incredible. I saw a lot of friends and smiles on the dance floor. What an incredible privilege to play there at that time. Hope you'll like this set :)
