Gareth Cole is the ambitious Brit who has been carving a name for himself as a purveyor of fine house and techno both as a producer and DJ. 

Here he signs up to Steve Bug’s Sublease Music for three slick and impactful slices of deep, techy house. First up is Signal, a low-slung groover with hypnoic keys, and a thick, rounded bottom end driving the track forward. 

On Courage, the energy is amped somewhat, with plenty of space thanks to the dubby, minimal production. 

Gareth notes “I was very inspired by music and DJ sets from Guy J - there is this sort of hypnotic groove which locks you into the vibe and music. I designed a really nice lead stab on Sylenth which is my go-to synth and it repeats during the majority of the tune and then other elements play around it to keep it interesting”. 

The final track is On The Edge, delving deep into Cole’s roots in techno - slowly building on the groove with extra elements to create a hypnotic, techy atmosphere sure to set dancefloors alight this summer.

'Bohemian Disco is the exciting new label from UK producer and DJ, Jason Herd, who has a brilliant set of releases forthcoming throughout 2023 spanning the Soulful, Disco, Funky and peak time House music spectrums, featuring collabs with some of the best names in the biz. The label’s first release sees Jason team up with the iconic ‘Queen Of House’, Barbara Tucker, on the fantastically uplifting Disco stomper ‘Head Up High’, which features a high octane vocal from Barbara, along with full live strings and instrumentation. The package also features a remix from one of the Subliminal masters, Harry Romero, who cooks up a slamming dub, along with a full vocal remix coming soon. Jason also delivers one of his peak time Fat Arse dubs, featuring playfully chopped up vocals, a distorted Tom bassline and lo-fi piano’s, ripe for the late night party. 

Jason Herd has gained worldwide acclaim with his uplifting house productions on top labels such as on Defected, Subliminal Azuli, Toolroom, Moody and CR2, among others. He’s performed at Global Gathering, Creamfields, Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Space, Toolroom Knights and more. Having taken a break from releasing music, concentrating on his Manchester Based “Bohemian Disco” Festival, alongside his mixing, mentoring and engineering, Jason gets ready to deliver his best work to date as he launches his Bohemian Disco label. Watch this space for releases with iconic producers, vocalists and fresh new talent, including The Bohemian Disco Choir. Jason also hosts the The Bohemian Disco Radio Show On Centreforce Radio Saturdays from 1-3pm (GMT). 

Barbara Tucker has been a major part of the global house community for over 37 years, releasing anthemic hits such as ‘Beautiful People’, ‘I Get Lifted’, ‘Stay Together’, ‘Jazz It Up’, ‘Stop Playing with My Mind’, ‘Most Precious Love’, ‘Respect’ and many others. She is currently working on a new project, ‘Barbara Tucker’, with various producers and artists including Maurice Joshua, Kyle Small, Jose Burgos, Neil Pierce, Soul Syndicate (DeShawn Ali & McCue), Groove Culture and Jerry Williams, to name a few. A talented force of nature, she continues to balance studio time whilst travelling the world performing and spreading the Gospel. '

Steve Lawler & VIVa MUSiC come with his first EP of 2013, "Avaida (The Organ Track)". This is a special release for Steve, named after his daughter to be, whom will be born in March. Hence the release date. 

This track is known for its characteristic organ interludes. Already a massive track throughout the VIVa Warriors season 2012 in Ibiza, it finally sees the official release as a special vinyl picture disc. Between pulsing beats and a sexy groove, this track breaks down to show off an impressive display of organ notes, in celebration hitting keys up and down the scale. Thriving with life (hence the name) from the beginning, the production displays a multitude of layers and percussion, from its solid drum groove, to cymbals, high hats, claps and synths and its sexy bass line accompanied by the melody of the organ. Already gained support from the very limited 4 artists to have it, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Pete Tong and our friend Darius Syrossian.

The special item vinyl picture disc makes this EP an exciting start to the year for Steve and the VIVa MUSiC crew. The digital release will drop a little later with a stunning interpretation from Murk.
