Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Lawrence Lee

From jacking acid to bass and euphoric rave, Lawrence Lee's sets channel an intuitive and emotive approach to activate the dance floor. His productions and DJ sets have seen him quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in Berlin's vibrant music scene. 

He is also the founder of A7A Records, a resident of Rinse France and co-founder of the LUSH club night which has flourished into a Friday fixture at Berghain's Panorama Bar.

Embrace The Change

In a world shrouded in shadows, where the boundaries between reality and the unseen waver, a lone traveler begins their journey. The path before them is one of mystery and darkness, twisting through the depths of the mind where thoughts unravel and merge into a distorted maze. Along the way, the traveler encounters visions both haunting and surreal, as if stepping through a veil into a realm where the laws of nature are bent and refracted through a glass darkly. Yet, as the journey continues, the darkness gives way to a spectral light, faint at first, then growing, illuminating a landscape both alien and beautiful. The traveler feels a growing sense of unease, as if walking the edge of madness, with every step echoing in the void, every shadow hiding untold secrets. In this strange land, they confront their deepest fears and wildest dreams, the line between the two blurring with each heartbeat. As the path winds on, there comes a moment of clarity, a sacred road that leads through the heart of the chaos, offering a glimpse of something pure, something holy. The traveler, weary from the journey, feels the warmth of a rising sun, breaking through the night’s grip, filling their soul with light and hope. The air is charged with energy, and the world around them pulses with life, as the traveler crosses vast deserts, climbs towering dunes, and descends into hidden valleys. The descent begins, a return to the familiar, yet nothing is as it was. The air grows colder, the landscape more desolate, as if the world itself is preparing for the end. And then, a storm. It rises from the horizon, a hurricane of sound and fury that sweeps across the land, leaving devastation in its wake. The traveler is caught in its grasp, thrown into a whirlwind of chaos, but even within the storm, there is a strange, chaotic beauty—a testament to the raw, untamed power of the world. And then, as suddenly as it began, the storm subsides. The traveler, battered but unbroken, looks to the skies, where the stars shine brighter than ever. They feel a pull, a gentle yet irresistible force drawing them upward, beyond the confines of the earth, into the vast expanse of the cosmos. The traveler floats weightlessly, carried by the currents of time and space, at peace with the infinite. A journey that leaves the traveler forever changed, their soul touched by the mysteries of the world, their heart filled with the knowledge that in every end, there is a new beginning.

We’re thrilled to introduce Mademoisel (she/her), a London-born now Berlin-based DJ, and part of the Neodyn and Astral Lab collectives.

Having already made her mark in numerous renowned clubs in London and Berlin, she will make her debut on European festival lineups this summer.

Inspired by the freedom of the forest parties where she began djing, she experiments across genres taking twisted turns, mixing rolling psy, punching tribe, 90s trance, hypnotic techno, and beyond.

For this podcast, Mademoisel has chosen to explore old school sounds, blending 90s progressive trance with modern synth-y house bits.

Be prepared to move through a vortex of warping sounds, as her sets are nothing short of power!

DINA’s production spans spacey ambience, punching basslines, and ethereal trance. Her most recent EP on Slash is described as an ”impressive combination of immersive basslines transforming into huge amounts of dancefloor euphoria”. Power of Unity

In a land where ancient roots anchor the spirit, a traveler begins their journey, drawn by the warmth of the earth and the whispers of heritage that fill the air. As they move forward, the boundaries of reality soften, leading them to a place of swampy introspection where thoughts float freely like a levitating frog through the opaque wet, untethered by the weight of the world. Here, the traveler encounters a deep, resonant tremor beneath the surface, a quake that shakes the foundations of their understanding, revealing the hidden connections that bind all things together. Welcomed by themselves as a new friend, the new path meanders through lush greenery, offering moments of solace and unity with nature, before descending into a world of psychedelic visions where reality twists and turns. Shadows stretch and shift, revealing secrets that challenge the traveler’s perception. Along the way, they learn from the smallest of creatures—the ants—whose collective strength and purpose speak to the power of unity in the face of the abyss of destruction. Amidst the swirling energy, a song for peace emerges, its soothing melody calming the storm within and bringing a sense of harmony. Shaken down to the last basic element, defragmented and provided with new patterns, the placid wanderer experiences a thrust into new spheres of thought that promise a spirit of optimism. In the final moments of the journey, the traveler stands at the edge of a new horizon. Here, at the intersection of past and future, the wanderer has reached the eye of the storm of his very own mind.
