In this new installment of the ABSCAST mix series we present Chimachine, one of our core artists and a Cuba's Techno Scene regular. With just a few years active as a DJ he has great support among the artists and ravers thanks to his well curated and dance-floor focused sets. 

Raw, muscular and hypnotic sounds that plays with textures and acid lines could describe the character of his sessions. Tons of influence from the 90s and 2000s and a great programming as well as a killer selection, smoother at times and more harder other times, are the elements that truly characterize him at his sets. Also great tracks released previously on the label and many more to come makes this Cuban asset a real diamond of the local scene.

Bringing these different styles together allowed GFX to find his musical world, giving him a true way to express his emotions.

Chef is an artist from Madrid who, since he was 16 years old and with an identity document from a friend, like many, frequents the dance floors of the best clubs and festivals in the country, forging his ear and good musical taste.
Since his mother, when he was in her womb, put him on New Order's Blue Monday, he began to absorb what is necessary to have an open mind, a love and a very strong concern for music and for sharing it with the world. At the age of 22 he decided to start mixing with his friends and since then he has not stopped. Its growth is exponential. Evolution and respect for music are his constants.

Graciela Soto aka SOTO, made her debut in January 2019 for the Strange DNA crew at the LadyBird bar, enjoying every second behind the decks feeling the energy of the crowd.

With eclectic influences ranging from more melodic acid tunes to hardcore industrial bangers, she adapts to the crowd but always maintains her own spin, with her heart always beating strong.

Through its 8 tracks, De Tu a Tu evinces a social culture still based and impregnated by the foundations of colonialism, which prevents us to move forward to a plural and different world, free of borders and excessive control eagerness. There is no space for reflection
in this era of frenetic digital revolution framed in a society of fierce consumption. Our data are coveted for their trade to keep on feeding a capitalist system that can even afford to tell us what to watch on TV (does Netflix sound familiar?). The globalization of poverty. In front of this call for and alienated integration, we should rise up by going for what is different and loving it. De Tu a Tu.
