if you kno me u kno i love jDILLΛ (7 FEB 1974 – 1o FEB 2oo6) RIP
he was an amazing producer, rhymer, arranger, composer etc &
u also know i woldn't come w/ just anything by way of a tribute of his music w/ multiple short dilla tributes like most; nah.
i wanted to come a little different ONE time & turn u onto some gems that feature the mastery of DILLΛ's lyricism in addition to the wonder of his musical craftsmanship, on some old school longplay stuff w/ a
few blends courtest of mixologist, dj raghkstar aka me, RΛSHΛRD NΛMUH. remember how it used to be? well, thats what i'm doing here. to explain further, this demonstration is set to run like back in the days when u used to have your 90min cassette on blast traveling w your favorite artist. yeah, having said that this has that "road trip" kind of vibe. its literally over 2+ hours long of all dilla tunes. no lie. kinda like ur having your own dilla tribute party wherever you may be
at the moment (airport, gym, car or raghkin at home). so please listen to DILLivΛry (add it to your smart phones, burn it on a cd
or whatever) there are plenty of gems in there you may have never heard as i threw some of my remixes in there as well. again, some you've heard, some you haven't & some you may have heard but may not know he produced. either way, enjoy this package; its a special DILLivΛry
