A Long Way To Georgia

Dooley is a fool he loves her truly
And she knows it and it makes him so sick
To be away from her.
It stirs his mind every time he calls without an answer
The dancer always makes him cry

Soon the train will take her soon the pain 
will make her man turn to sand
And crumble to the earth
It will make him blind staring sad and lonely to the moonshine
The shoeshine sky won’t tell him why

Only time will bring her, lonely rhyme

He can’t sing a word
On a landing bird he ties and sends a letter out to meet her
He needs her more now than before

The dancer gives no answer, Dooley calls a
Necromancer, dead romancer
To save his love for her
He casts his line deep into the spirit realm to find
Some peace of mind, only hurting more.
