Terence McKenna, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdEKhIk-8Gg a well-known ethnobotanist, mystic, and advocate for the use of psychedelic substances, had a unique perspective on the concept of a morphogenetic universe. His ideas, often blending scientific concepts with mystical and psychedelic experiences, proposed that the universe is not just a physical space but also a realm of ideas and forms influenced by what he termed the "morphogenetic field." 
One of McKenna's famous theories, the "Novelty Theory," suggests that the universe has an inherent quality that increases complexity and novelty over time, which he attempted to graph in his "TimeWave Zero" theory. This idea can be seen as linked to his views on morphogenetic fields, in that these fields could be guiding the universe towards greater complexity and consciousness.

My set from my favourite summer party (which has gone online due to reasons we all know). Thanks to everyone that tuned in and I hope you all enjoy either re-listening or enjoy listening to it for the first time now. Thanks so much to the versions crew for having me play and a huge special thank you to Isis Graham for making it all happen. She is my biggest local DJ inspiration and I am so grateful to call her my friend and to have been given the opportunities that I have had through her. The mix is in mono, but I don't think that will take away from the special night that it was. I don't often post up live DJ mixes, but this one was really memorable for me.
