Denis Simon, an anagram of DimENsIonS. Dimensions is behind Denis Simon, French DJ and producer. Originally working as a graphic designer, he composed his first musical creations for television in January 2010 at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. His many influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam to New Order Paul Kalkbrenner, to minimalist composers such as Steve Reich and Philip Glass and induce labor from the minimum ambient melodic techno sound of the big rock n'roll 70's. His compositions draw the interest of the Euronews channel, which offers a new Simon Denis expression luck with the sound design of the antenna. Meanwhile, Denis Simon up a project called VideO_Drums, in which he plays electronic drum solo, live, with various machines as a "tenori on" Yamaha and Korg Kaosspad. Thanks to its battery Vdrums Roland, it sends images as a vj in its backdrop. The principle storytelling playing his favorite instrument, the drums.
 
Denis Simon, un anagramme de DimENsIonS Derrière Dimensions est donc Denis Simon, DJ et producteur français. Travaillant à l'origine comme graphiste, il compose ses premières créations musicales pour les télévisions en janvier 2010, à l’occasion des Jeux Olympiques d'hiver à Vancouver. Ses influences multiples vont de Led Zeppelin ou Pearl Jam jusqu'à New Order ou Paul Kalkbrenner, en passant par les compositeurs minimalistes comme Steve Reich ou Phillip Glass et induisent un travail allant de la techno minimale ambiante mélodique au gros son du rock n'roll des 70’s. Ses compositions attirent l'intérêt de la chaine d'information Euronews, qui offre à Denis Simon une nouvelle chance d'expression avec l'habillage sonore de l'antenne. Parallèlement, Denis Simon monte un projet nommé VideO_Drums, dans lequel il joue de la batterie électronique en solo, live, accompagné de diverses machines comme un "tenori on" de Yamaha et un Kaosspad de Korg. Grace à sa Batterie Vdrums de Roland, il envoie des images comme un vj sur son fond de scène. Le principe : raconter des histoires en jouant de son instrument favori, la batterie.
