"The concept for this mix was to recreate the types of sets that I've been playing recently in small intimate nightclubs from 5am onwards. The types of places where the only purpose is to get your head down and dance. It's kind of tripped out, deep and skippy. I feel as a DJ I have many avenues I go down but this is undoubtedly my absolute favourite flavour to play.

Operating under a cloak of mystery, the Aarhus residing DJ and producer has carved out a little niche corner with his Safe Distribution crew when it comes to making classy and well-thought-out house music - stuff that we personally keep coming back to and consider “timeless” goodness. Celebrating the hundredth Animix with some of Animalia's very own - a special live set recorded at the Animalia event in May by Ebbs n Flow (@ebbsnflow), the brainchild of Will Holden & Dashiell. Will is @undergroundcityloop, and one half the iconic Melbourne chuggy trance duo @hybridmn. Dash (@dashiell) has released solo tunes on Animalia, and also makes up one third of Animalia's very own boyband, Ménage (@menagerecords). 

In their new project, the two have paired together to create cheeky, steppy tunes which delve into tech house, garage & d'nb inspired sounds. Ebbs n Flow released a couple of tunes on Animalia's recent compilations and have much more in the works.. so happy to share this mix with everyone for number 100!
