A live mix from notable Drum and Bass Veteran dBridge recorded at Mungos. As part of Bad Company, dBridge released many genre important singles such as Planet Dust, Nitrous, and The Nine. dBridge continues to play sets for famed labels Renegade Hardware, Swerve, Shogun Audio and Ram Records. He is the owner of Dimension’s Family Label Exit Records and in 2011 released Compilation Mosaic Vol 1. dBridge released his EP Move away in August 2013 and continues to be a force within the scene.

Passion by name, passion by nature. Freedom Phillips' musical journey embodies just that. Music took hold of her at a young age thanks to the family she had around her, and an obsession with collecting records followed at just 11 years old. 

She soaked up early grime then rare 90s US garage house and UK G sounds, honing her skills as a DJ and birthing the moniker Lady Passion in the process. She digs deep, it's something that's never left her - you can hear these finds on her longstanding, weekly residency on London mainstay Vision Radio every Friday.

The musical family that surrounds her also continues to inspires her. Alongside her brother DJ Perception - a pioneering force in underground UKG - several years ago they began to build musical hub in their new home for a community of DJs, producers and MCs in South London. It's this space, and the story behind it, that has been documented over the last six years as 'Moodswing', a film that will be released in the near future and takes its name from Perception's record label.

As we enter the weekend, and the sun begins to shine down over London, Lady Passion lights up our day that little bit more with a mix of warm, soulful and bouncy UKG and Garage House selections...

On our 10th birthday we had the pleasure of Egyptian Lover playing for us. Anyone who was in the Walled Garden on the Saturday will no doubt tell you how special this was. The atmosphere created by this man was electric. He managed to style out his fader breaking within 5 minutes of his performance....without anyone noticing until he casually let us know towards the end of his set. His parting words were "Enjoy your life" - cheers to that. Free DL available

K-LONE’s Cape Cira LP is one of the prettiest records you’ll hear all year in techno or any other genre. The Wisdom Teeth boss created a verdant sonic world on that album, one where rippling beats came drenched in sun-dappled atmospheres and melodies that evoked palm trees swaying in a breeze. On this exclusive mix, @k-lone93 lets us in on some of the music that inspired the record. The mix’s first half largely eschews dancefloor pulses in favour of dreamy flushes of sound - while there are some gently danceable numbers in here from the likes of DJ Python and Duckett, the entries around them emphasise new-age-inspired textures in a manner that draws a clear line to Cape Cira. We then enter a territory of coy techno and micro-house throbs, one where Jan Jelinek’s ‘Rock In The Video Age’ sets the tone, before blissing out with pure ambiences at the mix’s close. 

"This mix is a selection of cuts from my favourite albums I was listening to around the time of writing Cape Cira, mostly the sort of stuff for listening to at home rather than the club.
