Jane Fitz took the stage twice with a B2B set this at rural 2024, and she appeared on the final day with her musical partner Jade Seatle, who co-hosts the DIY party “Night Moves” in their home, London. The final day started out rainy, but ended up with sunny skies. This set was deeply connected with such a dramatic ending. Enjoy this euphoric collection of left-field tech house gems.

reflex blue is behind the buttons for the podcast this week. A celebrated producer and DJ hailing from Naarm/Melbourne and now based in London, he’s fast becoming a household name, propelled by a versatile range of productions on the likes of Limousine Dream, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Slapfunk Records.

DIM321 finds reflex blue is full swing, stretching his long legs across 140 thoroughly enjoyable minutes. Classy house expertly punctuated either side by downtempo and faster techno / progressive inspired sounds.

Formerly under ATLAS Radio, the pair have hosted regular shows on Reprezent Radio and Worldwide FM, where they showcased their tastes for varying genres and sounds from across the globe, and invited guests like Gilles Peterson and Mehmet Aslan to join them. Their new regular slot on South London's Balamii Radio sees them playing the darker and weirder side of their collections, and has helped land them a residency at Peckham's newest music venue, Ghost Notes, alongside some fellow DJ Directory members.

We'll leave it to them to describe this one...
"This mix is full of songs that excite us at the moment. From the wavey guitar sounds at the beginning to the heavy EBM techno at the end, we wanted to show the breadth of our sets and how heavy we can go when the time is right! There are some unreleased bits in there from Blind Delon, Desert Sound Colony, Tin Man and our homeboy Jake AKA Pris."

Michael Upson has been at the forefront of the DIY party scene in Leeds for the last decade, most recently founding the pumping gay dance party: Love Muscle. Starting just over two years ago in response to the generally dire state of queer night-life in Leeds, Love Muscle aims to provide an inclusive space for the LGBTQ population of the city with a slightly more discerning music taste. "We want to make people feel good about themselves and to celebrate their sexuality through the music that's ultimately a part of their history." The night also operates a strict no photography and safer spaces policy to allow people to truly explore who they want to be uninhibited. 

Love Muscle and its subsequent radio show on KMAH has provided a platform for him to bring some of the finest underground queer talents in electronic music to the city.

York has never had a reputation for being a party town. However, tucked away just within the historic city walls lies Bar Lane Studios, where Sam Jefferies divulges his passion as a painter by day and a DJ by night under the guise of Yuri.

Now living in Leeds, Sam is fast establishing a reputation for having a musical knowledge beyond his years and a record collection that could outmatch selectors well into their 30s. In this exclusive 6 hour recording for our DJ Directory series, we get a glimpse into this vast collection from hip-hop, funk and soul to house, electro, disco and beyond.

Danielle is a DJ and Illustrator from London, currently based in Bristol, who, over the last couple of years has had the chance to play at some of the city’s best parties including Timedance, Livity Sound and Young Echo, as well as some of the world’s best clubs such as Corsica Studios, Sub Club and Griessmeule. 

Her sets feature an impressive range of genres from deep house to leftfield, electro, new-wave, UK techno and beyond. She draws from an informed selection of old school house cuts, whilst keeping up to date with the newest dance music as it’s released. This is thanks to a musical education that continues to expand with her 9 years (and counting) of work at the internationally-renowned Phonica Records. In addition to hosting regular NTS shows, she is a resident alongside fellow directory member Daisy Moon at BRSTL (a monthly club night showcasing Bristol-based talent) and is one of the mentors at the increasingly popular Bristol-based DJ workshop ‘Mix Nights’.

Bristol-based DJ https://soundcloud.com/official-sam_hall returned to Dimensions Festival in 2018 with a bag bursting with gems. His sets consist of a variety of house and techno with influences taken from late 80’s and 90’s records and DJ’s from Chicago, Detroit and the UK. Recorded live in the Ballroom, this set is a clear example of his passion for classic records and his eye for a foot-stomping modern release.
