Hailing from the South Bronx with southern roots Dimez Coleon emerged from a some what troubled child hood to become the charismatic, swaggerific artist he is today. Born to teenage parents he was adopted by a strict southern woman who tried to keep him out of the streets to no avail,as a child he was captivated by Tv shows like star search and show time at the Apollo, it was like he knew that he was made for the stage but his adopted mother felt that he would benefit better if he had a normal childhood so his only outlet was school talent shows and church. He has never known his biological mother and reunited with his father later on in life. Growing up in Mott Haven projects he has had to over come many adversity. mainly growing up with out a father figure. Being deprived of a positive male influence he looked to the street hustlers and gangsters as role models and aspired to be what some would call a "real nigga" movie s like Juice and Boyz in the hood further fed his curiosity to the streets so at 12 he joined a gang and later started selling drugs by the time he was 15 the street life caught up to him and he was arrested and sentenced to 2-6 years. It was there that he was reacquainted with a child hood love. Music he began to listen to jay-z DMX and Fabolous. Jay caught his attention and gave him a plan, X helped him fight his deamons and see himself , and Fab showed him how to move and gave him swag he began to write and co-lab with fellow inmates and soon felt he had finally realized his path in life and he has been on it every since allot of trials and tribulations along the way and the journey isn't any where close to being done
