Patio de Juegos, which translates as Playground, is a wonderful multi-genre journey through the mind of an artist who is both on top of his game, and on the rise towards the stars. Lashings of his ever-present South American heritage infuse with incredibly intricate and perfectly simple house structures that give the whole album its almost child at play ethos that is rarely found in electronic music. Future club hits such as Wanna Be, with its nod to the historical upbeat lineage of house music, and All the Girls, with its chugging rhythm, trickling piano loops and erotic vocals sit effortlessly alongside more experimental and jazz inspired tracks such as the explorative Still here. Another fine example is Sun, with its deep bass line punctuated with the sun-soaked synths and summer high-hats that export listeners away to a warm utopia. Guti produces a number of tracks with high profile artists from both within and outside the DJ fraternity a sign of his increasing popularity within electronica, and also his innate ability to collaborate with more mainstream artists. This has resulted in Guti pushing his productions in new and exciting directions.Guy Gerber features on We Shall Overcome, with its rising synths complemented by a chunky beat that will ensure it features in many sets over the coming months. Visionquests Ryan Crosson lends a hand on No Promises which has resulted in a truly driving dancefloor groove. And My Whole Thing features Anthea Marie Nzekwu whose uplifting vocals accompany a dreamy chilled out beat.Berklee College of Music graduate, and Gutis long-time friend, Grünbox features on Miraloo an example of Gutis ability to collaborate with the worlds musical elite.Notably, and perhaps the biggest coup, is that of Daniel Melingo who features on Lucio El Anarquista. The Grammy nominated tango singer and worldrenowned musician is well known for his composition work on Pedro Almodóvars films, and he brings a rich musical education to a truly sublime track. Overall Guti gives up a beautiful mixture of tracks that bridge the space between the club and the living room with consummate ease. A breathtaking first album, which clearly demarcates the live performers ability and ambition for the coming years.

The marvellous Chilean blooded "Llovizna", produced by the talented Felipe Venegas & Francisco Allendes was originally released in 2009 on Cadenza 40th vinyl release. We are delighted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its publication with a crisp remix by the mighty Luciano and a rework hot off the press by its original writers. Furthermore, there will be another heavyweight remixer,a big surprise and an appreciated comeback: Loco Dice need no introduction, and his remix of this Cadenza classic leaves us speechless. A magnificent bond of the original latin vibes and astonishing peak-time sound manipulation with a relentless pace. The remixes and the rework will be released both on a vinyl E.P. and in digital format.
"Llovizna" is a track with an indissoluble bound with Cadenza's South America roots, a bound perpetually fortified by the origin of many of the artists involved with the label, and by the choice to host amazing massive events in Chile and in the rest of the continent. A funky bass line and full- bodied reverberating jazz drums make out Luciano's bubbly and shiny remix. The cutting edge climactic sequencing of its synthesisers and the seasoned use of percussive breaks and fills exalt the emotional interlude of the folkloric female Latin chant, just before a fully fledged dancefloor oriented restart.
The rework delivered by Felipe and Francisco starts off banging with a resolved bass drum, rattling shakers and fierce hi-hats. Subtle melodies slowly raise from its minimalistic framework revealing in advance all the sweetness of its Andean singing. A majestic rework, which resonates far beyond from a dj tool aftertaste.

Seth Troxler & Patrick Russell - Doctor Of Romance (Circus Company)

Ben Weiss & Saull are two emergent DJs, working as producers, their first EP was released in 2016 and immediately noticed with tracks played at Circoloco DC10, Ibiza. They played with Black Coffee at VOID Mykonos, alongside Patrick Topping and Neverdogs for the Gia Sai x Kaluki Party and at Insomnia before Apollonia in a warehouse party. In 2016 they became part of the Gia Sai Agency  and played with Serge Devant, Richy Ahmed, Djebali, Damian Lazarus, Joris Voorn and Shaun Reeves. Much more to come !
