This track was used as a backing track for a vocal group performance during the 68th Departure Preparation for Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (Persiapan Keberangkatan Angkatan 68 LPDP).  

This medley consists of seven pieces:
1. Bungong Jeumpa from Aceh,
2. Manuk Dadali from West Java,
3. Kampuang Nan Jauah di Mato from West Sumatra,
4. O Ina Ni Keke from North Sulawesi,
5. Ayo Mama from Maluku,
6. Yamko Rambe Yamko from Papua, and
7. Keroncong Kemayoran from DKI Jakarta.

I performed the original choir version during my last concert as a chorister in Paduan Suara Mahasiswa ITB (ITB Student Choir).   This was an experiment to see how the voices of the woodwind and strings section interact with each other.

This arrangement is my birthday present to Angelia, my partner-in-crime in lots of projects during my time at ITB Student Choir.  Happy birthday!

This piece is a first version of the battle theme on a tactical RPG my friend is developing.  I tried to avoid making the theme too intense, for it may ruin the atmosphere of a tactical game.  I thought this version was too short, though, and I was afraid that it might drive players into boredom since they will hear this piece a LOT of times. 

"Cave inimicum" is Latin for "Beware the enemy", and is also a spell in JK Rowling's Harry Potter series.  I thought it was a fitting title for this piece.

While figuring out what piece I am going to do this Christmas, I happened to remember a friend of mine who has this beautiful collection of poems -- some of which were written with dedication to a friend.  This collection of poems is called "Scintillae", which means small sparks or flashes.  All of them are of equal beauty, but I had to choose one, and out of the published twenty-something poems, I chose the fifth.  A very beautiful poem about not having to deal with the world alone; perfectly in tune with current events.

Welp, another competition that I lost :P.  This time, it's a composition competition children's song.  I was really disappointed, thinking that I had it for sure this time, but with only 5 finalists selected from 1865 entrants, I probably should have realized that this work did not stand a chance...

But anyways, here is our entry, humbly presented for your enjoyment.  The lyrics might be a bit cringeworthy, as this is supposed to be a children's song.  The melody and the music was taken from a piece from the charity musical KERSTWONDER in which I am one of several arrangers/composers handling the project.  It was a very cheerful and upbeat song about being happy; we changed the lyrics so that it fits better with the theme of the songwriting competition.  Now it's about enjoying your holiday!

I think I'm having a bit too much fun with this...

I made an RPG for my little brother, and there is this one town in that RPG called Vaderlo, which, obviously, is a bastardization of this song's title.  This is the battle music of some enemies in that town's dungeon, hence the "Loop ver." in the title -- it's a battle theme, so it's supposed to loop!

Oh by the way, the boss of this section of the game is called "Voyna" and "Mir", for those who are interested.

An amateur musician from Indonesia.  I started my work arranging and composing several pieces for choirs, but recently I try to make more orchestral and pop pieces.  I am not formally trained in composition, so helpful comments and suggestions are most welcome.  I hope you enjoy my music!
