Excerpt from my weekly mix show on Ibiza Global Radio, every Tuesday at 2am in Ibiza. A floating mix of recently released emotive techno. Music that is rocking my world at the moment. Preparing for Spring and summer and all the exciting new projects ahead. 

This isn't necessarily what I will play out at 4am although I will always feature mood and emotion into my sets, however much I need to pump it. 

A worthy soundtrack for more than one situation and environment.

“  These days, our current technological, musical and social development combined, we listen to music either on headphones, in the car, in a club, or very often on the move on very low quality speakers, computer speakers, some even use the phone and put it in a big glass as an amplifier! 
This has changed the dynamics of production and music over recent years. Complex music, busy music with a lot of high end information, becomes brittle, brash, lacking the warm low end, a pull and push so important to dance music. With this in mind, when I record a mix in a studio environment I prefer to showcase a deeper side, selecting, presenting and showcasing a slower, deeper journey, creating intensities with the ebb and flow of musical ups and downs and not drum intensities. Low slung grooves and moods. 
If this is to be a sound track for one hour in someones day, may it be a compliment, a mood setter, mood enhancer, co-creator and not a distraction, letting the drums fall away and give us a musical and emotional lift, drawing us out of the mind through melody. When I play out in a live situation its quite the opposite generally, I use the drums and groove and the music to draw us out of the mind and body through dance. Its always all about the transitions, the flow. 
This mix is about condensing hours of music into a short time and still having coherence, as should be the case in all areas of our life. Coherence in mind and body creates a positive existence. “
