Dimitri Vegas, Steve Aoki and Chapter Verse’s ‘Friends’ is an infectious house track that incorporates the iconic vocals from the familiar dance classic by Justice & Simian. Bassjackers now treat us to a bass-soaked hardstyle remix of the well-loved track. Featuring nothing less than hair-razing crescendos, thunderous basslines and adrenaline filled drops, Bassjackers do what they do best and amp up the energy with a blistering remix of ‘Friends’ that is guaranteed to get dancefloors pumping.

The Dutch DJ and production duo Bassjackers, comprising of Marlon Flohr and Jesse van de Ketterij, have established themselves as tastemakers in their field. Bursting onto the scene following the release of ‘Mush Mush’ in 2011, they now boast an 8-year reign in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, standing firmly at position 27. Known for their vigorous, big-room beats, these maestros continue to push the boundaries of electronic music and captivate audiences with their energetic productions. Smash The House honchos Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike join forces with the prominent Dutch DJ and Producer Maddix to put a new age spin on an unmistakable classic rave anthem. Featuring the vocal sounds of the exemplary Kiki Solvej, the trio of acts have injected Da Hool’s 1997 ‘Meet Her At The Love Parade’ with an infectious techno-trance style that gives the timeless track an exciting new revamp.

The new track is a raver’s delight that combines elements of techno with its heavy fist-pumping kick beat and the high-paced cluster of hats and claps with trance-like synths and acid-heavy basslines. Sirens pierce through the beat creating moments of intensity and amplifying the build-ups. Kiki’s echoing voice can be heard throughout as it harmonizes with the track vocalizing lyrics in her native German tongue to add a layer of shade and mystery to the composition. 

Paying homage to one of dance music's most celebrated works, the original sample from Da Hool’s ‘Meet Her At The Love Parade’ is featured periodically throughout the track. The catchy synth loop is a familiar pattern that brings nostalgia to listeners around the globe. The brothers repeated their magic touch on the Ne-Yo collaboration 'Higher Place', which spent ten weeks atop the Belgian singles chart and secured the #1 Billboard Dance Chart spot. They claimed the #1 spot again with the release of their Diplo collaboration 'Hey Baby' and then again when 'Selfish' featuring Era Istrefi secured the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart. Their summer 2017 single 'Complicated', with David Guetta and Kiiara, became one of the year's biggest hits with over 165 million streams on Spotify and 88 million YouTube views. The duo joined forces with W&W on 'Crowd Control', the sonic representation of their iconic dance move.
