Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike team up with Vini Vici to breathe new life into Cherrymoon Trax classic ‘The House Of House’ 

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been busy so far in 2018, touring worldwide in locations such as Asia and the USA, showcasing their diversity and cementing their place in the upper echelons of dance music. With roles in films such as the upcoming Belgian film ‘Patser’ and ‘The Bouncer’ alongside Jean Claude Van Damme, combined with Like Mike’s recent solo outing with ‘Memories’, the pair have been displaying their far-reaching talents, and with the Belgian brothers latest output, the team up with Vini Vici and Cherrymoon Trax for a Psytrance remake of the latter’s iconic Bonzai Recordings release ‘The House Of House’, Belgium’s favourite duo once again showcase a wide array of skill and proficiency in the studio.
 Previous collaborations have been fruitful for the pair, which recent David Guetta team-up ‘Complicated’ ft Kiiara amassing over 80 million Spotify streams to date. Having previously worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including W&W, Diplo and Ne-Yo, the pair are well versed in heavyweight team-ups, and that experience is on show again, as the track, a remake of the 1994 still in-demand wax classic, preserves the best elements of the original whilst adding modern touches that firmly bring the track into 2018. The flowing, electronic atmospherics of the original are present in abundance, and are layered with a multitude of synths that provide a textural soundbed for the harder beats to pound through. The track is peak-time festival primed, as the original melody is slowed down in the main breakdown to provide fans with a hands-in-the-air break that builds slowly, ramping up the intensity of the second drop. 
 ‘The House Of House’ also features a music video, comprised of footage of the track being played at some of the biggest events in the world by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Vini Vici, including Bringing the Madness and, having already been road tested on the biggest stage of all, Tomorrowland, it’s safe to say the proof is evident that ‘The House Of House’ is guaranteed to get the party started, and is well placed to make an immediate impact on dancefloors the world over for some time to come, ensuring Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike retain their status at the top of the dance music pyramid.

A hard trance, euro-dance classic back from 1998 Ixxel's famed 'Drop That Beat' receives a 2021 re-rub from party masters Dimitri Vegas & Like and Bassjackers.
 
A dialled in and upfront remix, this new interpretation of 'Drop That Beat' is loaded with more rhythm and bass pulse than the original. Retaining the renowned sample "I got something for your mind, your body and your soul", from First Choice's 'Let No Man Put Asunder'. They claimed the #1 spot again with the release of their Diplo collaboration 'Hey Baby' and then again when 'Selfish' featuring Era Istrefi secured the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart. Their summer 2017 single 'Complicated', with David Guetta and Kiiara, became one of the year's biggest hits with over 165 million streams on Spotify and 88 million YouTube views. The duo joined forces with W&W on 'Crowd Control', the sonic representation of their iconic dance move.
