Renowned DJ and global electronic music icon, Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios, is set to reignite the magic of vinyl with the release of his latest album, "Dimitri Vegas Presents Vinyl Only – Live at Tomorrowland". With this special project, Dimitri pays homage to the origins of his career and the timeless art of DJing with vinyl, recording his entire Tomorrowland set on vinyl for this exclusive release.

Dimitri’s career began in the early ‘90s, during which he would save every bit of money to build his personal collection of vinyl. Now, with this album, the producer dives deep into the rich history of electronic music, particularly focusing on the Bonzai Records era, a label that shaped the underground sounds of techno, trance, hard trance, rave music and hardcore music.
     
 The album features 21 tracks, all carefully selected and revitalized, blending Dimitri Vegas' own remix work with exciting collaborations featuring Creeds, Per Pleks and Armin van Buuren among many others. Tracks like "Back To Earth" by Yves Deruyter, "Illegale" by The Darkman, "Calyptus" by Tranceball, "Acid Dream" by Cherrymoon Trax, and "The Age Of Love" by Age of Love are revisited in their purest form - on vinyl. Each track was chosen to capture the raw energy and nostalgia of the era, while offering a fresh, contemporary twist for today’s listeners.

At a time when DJing has become more convenient with USBs and digital files, Dimitri deliberately chose to take the harder path. By bringing vinyl back to the forefront at one of the world’s biggest festivals, Tomorrowland, Dimitri captures the raw, analogue sound that defined an era. Dimitri has captivated audiences worldwide, a recent surprise appearance by actor Vin Diesel, showcases Dimitri’s ability to keep audiences guessing. Diesel’s enthusiastic presence and participation engrossed the crowd, creating a viral moment that racked up millions of views with their genre-blending collaboration "Don't Stop The Music".

As if the album wasn’t enough, Dimitri is also hinting at a series of ‘vinyl only’ concerts next year, where fans can expect more immersive vinyl experiences.

With over 30 million social media followers and billions of music streams, Dimitri Vegas, along with his brother Like Mike, has become a global sensation. Their influence in electronic music, from chart-topping hits to collaborations with legends like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Snoop Dogg, Tiesto, Daddy Yankee and Hans Zimmer, is undeniable. Moreover, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have recently achieved the #3 position in the DJ Mag Top 100 for 2024.

This latest project is yet another chapter in Dimitri’s illustrious career, showcasing not just his evolution as an artist but also his reverence for the roots of DJ culture.

The brothers are superstars in the electronic music scene that earned the adoration of crowds around the globe. From becoming the first-ever duo to win the World #1 DJ's crown at the prestigious DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll in 2015 and 2019, the twosome has continued to stand firm and stay in the top 5 positions in the Poll since 2014.

Collecting more Gold and Platinum records than they can count, Dimitri and Mike have won the hearts of icons across genres collaborating with heavyweight hitters like David Guetta, Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, Gucci Mane, Snoop Dogg, Martin Garrix, Diplo, Swedish House Mafia, Steve Aoki, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa and many more. An invite from Disney Records led the brothers to work with Hans Zimmer on a big room flavour of the film's lead score 'He's a Pirate' for the fifth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise Dead Men Tell No Tales. After a stellar rise in the scene for many years, their monumental single 'The Hum' starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Charlie Sheen in the music video scaled new heights. Netting the #1 spot in their native Belgium, the single went platinum, with the music video receiving over 200 million views online. The brothers repeated their magic touch on the Ne-Yo collaboration 'Higher Place', which spent ten weeks atop the Belgian singles chart and secured the #1 Billboard Dance Chart spot. They claimed the #1 spot again with the release of their Diplo collaboration 'Hey Baby' and then again when 'Selfish' featuring Era Istrefi secured the #1 position on the Billboard Dance Chart. Their summer 2017 single 'Complicated', with David Guetta and Kiiara, became one of the year's biggest hits with over 165 million streams on Spotify and 88 million YouTube views. The duo joined forces with W&W on 'Crowd Control', the sonic representation of their iconic dance move.
