Dropping on BSMNT, the young label that is showcasing the finest harder techno styles, this latest addition to the pair’s armoury sits right at home. Following a packed-out tour for summer 2024, the guys are back in the studio cooking up the finest dance tracks, utilising multiple styles and staying 2 steps ahead of the competition as always. 

‘Heroine’ kicks off with spooky chimes in an eery melody reminiscent of your favourite horror. Immediately after this gripping intro, you are thrown into energetic madness as hardcore stabs and rapid kicks pave the way to a crescendo of hard dance styles. Renowned DJ and global electronic music icon, Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios, is set to reignite the magic of vinyl with the release of his latest album, "Dimitri Vegas Presents Vinyl Only – Live at Tomorrowland". With this special project, Dimitri pays homage to the origins of his career and the timeless art of DJing with vinyl, recording his entire Tomorrowland set on vinyl for this exclusive release.

Dimitri’s career began in the early ‘90s, during which he would save every bit of money to build his personal collection of vinyl. Now, with this album, the producer dives deep into the rich history of electronic music, particularly focusing on the Bonzai Records era, a label that shaped the underground sounds of techno, trance, hard trance, rave music and hardcore music.
     
 The album features 21 tracks, all carefully selected and revitalized, blending Dimitri Vegas' own remix work with exciting collaborations featuring Creeds, Per Pleks and Armin van Buuren among many others. Tracks like "Back To Earth" by Yves Deruyter, "Illegale" by The Darkman, "Calyptus" by Tranceball, "Acid Dream" by Cherrymoon Trax, and "The Age Of Love" by Age of Love are revisited in their purest form - on vinyl. Each track was chosen to capture the raw energy and nostalgia of the era, while offering a fresh, contemporary twist for today’s listeners.

At a time when DJing has become more convenient with USBs and digital files, Dimitri deliberately chose to take the harder path. By bringing vinyl back to the forefront at one of the world’s biggest festivals, Tomorrowland, Dimitri captures the raw, analogue sound that defined an era. ft. the Belgian ‘Red Devils’ Score with ‘Melody’, the official UEFA 2016 anthem

In October, Belgium's national ‘Red Devils’ earned a place at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. After the match at the King Baudouin Stadium, the world's best DJs, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed a sensational DJ set. 

And as it turns out, that was only a taste of things to come. Because the Belgian DJ-duo also composed the official Euro 2016 anthem, ‘Melody’.  At the request of the Red Devils and the Royal Belgian Football Association, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got busy in the studio to create the Belgian Euro 2016 anthem. But they weren't alone. They were joined by international top DJs Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. The result is ‘Melody’. It's a strong anthem that will inspire our Red Devils to perform at their best in France. 

The video clip was created by director Adil El Arbi. You may have spotted him recently around Antwerp, where he filmed a part of the clip. It promises to be a film with an urban look and feel.  And a sorely needed dose of positive energy for us Belgians.
