Summer 1990

One of my early tracks that I still hold dear. It was inspired by a moment I witnessed at a train station—a girl on the run from a system that made it painfully clear she had no chance. This track captures that feeling perfectly: you can run, gain a small lead, but in the end, they always catch up to you.

It has been a whirlwind of emotions—often stark contrasts—optimism, hope and even little sparks of serenity interwoven with sadness, fear, and despair. More than ever before, I felt like a mere observer, rather than an active participant in the world around me, as the years transitioned on that night.
