A selection of Breaks in our next EP from a collection of Bristol's talent. 

Stefan Goodchild makes his debut with us on this deep and floaty EP! Producing from 1997 under the aliases Stablizer, Mako Shark and Stefan Goodchild, with releases under his belt on Plastic Raygun, Functional Breaks, Sound Of Habib and many more. He now finds himself focusing on his own imprint 'Triple Greek Recordings', whilst regularly dabbling in the sounds of slow Techno to 140bpm Breaks at Bristol based party 'Minatour Sound'.

On the remix we've got Bristol's emerging talent - Disaffected! They killed it on the last compilation and it's a pleasure to have them join us once more to provide a powerful remix. In this one they covered the styles of Hardcore and Rave in their futuristic style.

Germany's Defrostatica Records is slated to release "Hybrid Hooks" a monster 21 track compilation of uptempo club and rave bangers. The compilation  boasts an international line up of long standing
and new artists of Defrostatica Records such as Sinistarr, HomeSick, MorganNeiman, Greazus, Klose, Sam Binga, Jon1st, Sun People, Kiat, Anna Morgan, Detroit’s Filthiest, BSN Posse, Kabuki, Yazzus, Dispondant, Agzilla, Maltin Worf, DJ YumYum, Arcane, DJ Badshape, d’cure, Alza 54 and Jermainesoul.
The Leipzig label continues to blur the boundaries between jungle, footwork, juke and drum and bass with this collection of tunes. Each artist included was chosen for their work representing a refined sound identity within their cultural and musical context. This dynamic of diversity, inclusivity and mutual influence marks the DNA of Defrostatica.

Haling from the Albuquerque club scene, Slowrolla has been pushing a variety of 160bpm oriented styles, heavily taking influences from footwork, juke, and jungle.

Introducing ’Super Sleeper’ EP by Karl F Eugen, the second official release on the newly formed Gothenburg-based label, Paley Recordings. PLR002 brings you two originals from Karl himself.

’Super Sleeper’, a play on words defines this chugging, percussion-heavy track. Working in a lower BPM than usual, Karl finds a unique place between slow and dubby vibes with highly intense breakbeats to create an energetic and danceable track. One would almost describe this as down-tempo jungle.

On the B-side, ’Botanik’, Karl turns up the BPM and we find ourselves with an ethereal, chill track with a healthy dose of swing. Botanik’s synths, pads, and samples bring a nostalgic late-90s vibe that is sure to work wonders during the late hours of any type of party.

Bristol's excess label has re-emerged with their third annual V.A compilation "ANY BPM VOL.3."
 Today we premiere Aussie bass music upstart Burna's contribution "Squarefoot", a thumping 160bpm dembow and grime infused workout. 
Packed out with a fresh cohort of international underground talent the 14 track compilation also includes emerging scene mavericks like Ani Klang, Drumskull, Shawn Cartier, Zonae, Danky, and Portway to name a few.
This record was undertaken in support of a Bristol-based cause - this year they are donating to Quartet Community Foundation’s “Cost of Living Fund”. Out October 6 2023, follow the "BUY" link to pre-order!

“Sleeping Files Vol.1” is an EP that celebrates those forgotten treasures, those hidden gems that we find by chance while searching through our files. Often these projects could have remained forgotten, but once unearthed, they reveal their brilliance and beauty, surprising even their creator.

Each track on this EP tells a different story, a snapshot of creativity frozen in time. These pieces, although conceived at different times in our musical journey, have in common their timeless quality.

PREMIERE : Remotif - Are USBing ?

● In this new EP released on La Zintrie Records, entitled 'Another Reality', talented artist Swooh delivers her highly effective blend of ghetto house, techno and trance, taking us into a universe that's both sweet and radiant, carried along by powerful, driving rhythm patterns. 
The project opens with 'Check It Out', a dreamy, festive track resolutely inspired by 90s ghetto house combined with bright, ethereal synth layers. This great opening is followed by 'Make A Move', a techno/trance track built for the dancefloor, wrapped up in the positive sensibility that is omnipresent in the Brest-based artist's productions. The third track, 'Push My Button', opens up a more melancholic perspective, with its catchy melodies hybridized with a fast-paced ghetto groove. The EP closes with 'No Less Real Than Dreams', a more introspective final act that paints a nostalgic yet luminous picture, supported by perfectly-cut drum breaks, hazy vocals and majestic melodic musings.
