Today the mixtape was made by @mihalis-stamboulis aka Dirlasion born in Thessaloniki Greece.  Raised playing football in the alleys, cycling and skating, he made it at the not so busy streets of the neighborhood. First opportunity that he connected with the night life of Thessaloniki he found the perfect playground to do what he loves the most, clubbing and hosting events on North Greece.
Mixing is his passion, and he did it for the past 20 years in the industry, digging some crazy tunes. His sets takes us on a journey to continents with diverse cultures and several genres like electronic, psychill, ambient, organic house and downtempo. Also co owner of "The Odyssey podcast" and "The Odyssey Sunday" with a wide spectrum of electronic music styles, with influences from East and West, deep ethnic origin sounds that trancent the vibes of humanity and nature.

Known for his in-depth musical library and exquisite tastes across various genres - Tho will take you on a steppy galactic journey via his point of view. His first mix in the UKG & 2Step Nature. We have been massive fans of his mixes so a huge honour to have him on our series. 

Tho On UKG - "Ah UKG. My love for the genre goes back even further back than I can really remember. Back in my teens, I used to nab my Dad's Pure Garage CDs and rave away in my bedroom, singing away to the timeless catchy jams on my tod. Even my first ever record I bought was a garage tune (El-Tuff 2-3-Bass for anyone wondering). Nothing beats playing a UKG 2step slinky number in the middle of a house set and seeing the instant reaction from people. It seems to have some kind of magnetic pull over people - me included as with every time I move home, I seem to move closer and closer to the birthplace of UKG in the deepest parts of South London. Even my girlfriend pretty much refuses to listen to anything else (garage girls are so fine hey). I loved putting my first 2step inspired mix for DimSum - hope you dig it."
