I first gave to “Seeing Through Shadows” @Ricardo Villalobos. He was the only guy who was able to play crazy stuff. Please keep in mind, that this sound was not big at that time, and Ricardo was really far out. 

We were at the Dance Valley Festival, playing the Circoloco stage. Ricardo came to me during his set and said: “I’m going to play your track! Watch @Richie Hawtin’s face!“ He played the tune, and after first chords I saw Rich go to Ricardo. I didn’t really know him at that time. I just saw Ricardo laughing and pointing at me.

The fact that Mirko Loko's released on labels like Cadenza, Desolat and Visionquest proves this is a guy packing serious talent. 

'Butterfly Effect' and 'Harder' are fine examples of his knack of producing the type of tracks that get you locked in for the entirety and his forthcoming 'Kolor' EP, again on Luciano's Cadenza, sees him deliver more cosmic and mesmerising power.

Both tracks carry a dark yet immersive atmosphere, driven by lush synth layers and a haunting vocal that feels like it’s in conversation with the leads. The arrangement tells a story, slowly unfolding in a way that draws the listener into its world.

While the emotional weight of the tracks is undeniable, Kadhem never loses sight of the dancefloor. With well-placed stabs and explosive drops, he lights the spark right where it matters.
