Kirsty Clarke AKA Kyrist is a South East London based DJ / Producer who got into the music game through spinning House & Garage music at an early age, which eventually progressed into a love for Jungle / Drum & Bass. 

In 2009 she started to jump on the production bug after picking up the basics via various Music Technology courses.

Just a few years later, she started to build her name for herself and with a chance meeting with us earlier this year we decided to jump on these two heavyweight tracks that she has supplied, Divergence / Pipe Dreams. This is just the start for Kyrist, so watch out!

A summary of everything that has inspired the artist since the beginning of his career, AKOV explores previously uncharted territory from Ambient to Liquid, Jungle, Deep rolling, HalfTime and Neurofunk all within the confines of one composition. Originally intended as a soundtrack to a chapter within the artist’s Concept story, previously explored in ‘The Initiation EP; The Exodus accompanies the moment Humanity leaves earth in search of another inhabitable planet, while also symbolically representing the Artists venture into new areas of the Genre.

This is not your average AKOV track” States the artist; “I wanted to create something that demands your patient attention.” “ something that explores a whole range of emotion and isn’t just about Riling people up on the dance floor.” “Drum & Bass is arguably one of the most versatile genres out there and I wanted to pay homage to that fact.
