London Soweto Blues- Juls Ft Jaz Karis X Ideal (Mashup)

Israeli-born Berlin based producer and DJ Omer debuts his first release on Cocktail d'Amore with two offerings of celestial house. The title cut blends the sounds of the east with an immediately seductive atmosphere of bright melodies leaving the listener plenty of room to be transfixed through it's entirety. “Dust” dives deeper to reveal a more melancholic mood built on a symphony of lush pads and swirling metallic percussion. On remix duties are the wonderfully quirky Estonian duo Ajukaja & Andrevski who deliver an oddball re-imagining which sends the original into outer space as it gently builds to sparkling fervor only heard on the outskirts of galaxies. Rounding out the release is Man Power with an acid tinged burner which explodes into en excitement of live percussion and pads leaving any dance floor in complete ecstasy.

Most of the DJ world doesn't know who Guillaume Teyssier is. You're missing out. But that's ok, we're gonna help you here with 2 magnificient remixes of Teyssier's music. One is by Tigersushi's long time collaborators Principles Of Geometry. They go deep, like very deep, diving underwater with this shimmering remix of a very well known French pop hit from the 80s that Guillaume covered on his album. The other one is from a newcomer from Australia. Murray Lake runs a beautiful studio there and you can hear that in the lush production of this long epic Space take on Vortex Disco. A perfect set opener.

'For the fourth volume in the consistently impressive Barefoot Beats series, the Brazilian crew behind the imprint has offered a label debut to Canadian scalpel fiend Eddie C. His "Salve a Bahia" is a softly spun, sun-kissed delight; a slightly tooled up re-edit of a lesser-known Brazilian gem, full of jangly acoustic guitars, delay-laden choral vocals, bubbly electronics and gentle tropical intent.

For the fourth episode of the serie we welcome Joris Caloud from the mighty ( and underrated ) crew @lorem-ipsum-yo . Joris is a fantastic african record digger and it was not so a surprise that he choose Nigeria. The cultural history of this country is really rich and not linear as the long way of his birth.
Joris takes us into the 80's where nigerian's music tooks a lot from British colonisation ( we can find some south african look a like ).
The result is a perfect synth-beat journey between nigerian's roots and european influences.

Pour le quatrième épisode de notre série , nous invitons Joris Caloud de @lorem-ipsum-yo . Joris est un fromidable collectionneur de musiques africaines et le choix du Niogeria nous a tout de suite plus car trop peu connu comparé à d'autres pays (souvent beaucoup plus petit). 
Comme la construction de ce pays , la musique nigériane a subi de nombreuses influences dû au peuplement de différentes ethnies et à la colonisation majoritairement britannique. Joris nous replonge dans la musique Nigériane des années 80's ( où l'on peut retrouver de grandes similitudes avec sa grande soeur l'Afrique du Sud).
Le résultat est un superbe voyage synth-beat toujours balancé entre les racines africaines et l'influence européenne de l'époque.
