I began writing this song the day after Gord Lightfoot passed away. His music was one of the reasons I picked up an acoustic guitar when I was a teenager.

As I've said in the past, we don't always recover but reform and transform .  This is a celebration of transformation.   Maybe a new phase in life, or just accepting reality and being at peace about it.
