Raised by his grandmother in Mo City, Texas, Dinero Jaymo (born Jehromie Forbes in 1995) got a start off to rapping from getting in the booth and laying down verses with friends in Houston such as BG Kenny Lou. His rough upbringing and street hustling mentality fuel his verses. As he gained more and more support he began to take on rap seriously, spending hours upon hours in Houston studios perfecting his craft and building a diverse portfolio of songs. His music is filled with Houston slang and an original sound. His career got a jump start to it when he released his first official single “Yessir” early 2019. It gained tremendous feedback on all platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and Spinrilla on the infamous Planet of the Tapes mixtape series.
