Soul (FnF 4th of July BBQ)

I had the incredible honor of playing on the main stage of FnF this year at 10:45pm. The theme of this year's campout was, "Balls" so the set features a couple of original tracks I made to go along with the theme. Thanks so much to the coordinators, the volunteers, the music team, and all the amazing people for making the return to FnF such a joy.

On week’s RIPEcast we’re bringing you a scorching set Space Cowboys’ dancefloor igniter, Leyl Master Black, recorded live at Breakfast of Champions + It’s A New Day 2023. Leyl’s mix of techy, funky, and soulful house is regularly featured in the SF club and Burner scene, and her set at the Space Cowboy’s Outer Space stage at BoC absolutely went off!

Ayyyyy! If you were at Breakfast of Champions x It's a New Day this year, I hope you had as much fun as I did! I book-ended the party, mixing video on the Mog at the beginning and DJing on the BoC Space Stage to close the party out. Huge thanks to the happy crowd out there at the end—you made my night and helped kick off 2024 with an incredibly positive boost. 

Here's my set from the party! As usual, I put a lot into it—editing, layering samples and acapellas—and I was also inclined to detoured into DnB for a bit. Enjoy!
