Hello everybody, it's been a hot minute :P

I had to take a hiatus for personal reasons. I took a wrong turn and ended up on the wrong road for a little while, but I'm making my way back slowly but surely. I hope that for those of you who are having a rough time right now, this song speaks to you.

I plan to go into RemixLand for a little while and have my originals take a little break, I'm currently working on a bootleg of [ Kid LAROI feat. Justin Bieber - Stay ] that I'm very happy with at this moment. It's definitely a part of the next development in my sound, much like this song is.

This is a track that I've had ready for a while. I wanted to play around with the idea of making Old Skool breakbeat happy hardcore using a mix of old and new elements as well as modern processing techniques. I wanted to make something akin to Nanobii's Euro Rave Power EP, and I think I did a decent job. I enjoyed making this project and am happy to say that I look forward to making more songs like this in the future.

This is the third song that I've had ready for a while. I originally used this song to learn the Kilohearts plugin suite, and I ended up with a set of leads and bass patches that somewhat sounds like S3RL in terms of his older songs from the 2000s and maybe the 2010s. Soul vocals work like a charm, whether it's an Old Skool tune or UK Hardcore tune, give it a shot sometime, and you'd definitely be surprised :)))

This is my first attempt at a Breakbeat Hardcore/ Rave Breaks track. I'm pretty surprised with the way it turned out, but I hope to improve my grasp of this genre with future projects.

I'm hoping to adopt a sort of new workflow where my projects will span across different genres to avoid production blocks so that I would have a UK Happy Hardcore project, an Old Skool style project, and an uplifting trance project.

I don't like the idea of working on more than 4 projects at a time, so I'll have the 4th one in the proposed workflow be one of the genres that I wish to work on whenever, whether that might be Kawaii Future Bass, Eurobeat, Russian Hardbass, European New Beat, etc.

This is a track that I've been working on for a little while. I was mainly inspired by [ YUKIYANAGI - To The Blue Sky ] and I wanted to bring something new to the table with those vocals. I also wanted to get into the mindset of how he creates his vocal chops, and I got some good practice down, but I'm nowhere near his level yet.

I'm still working on the uplifting trance track, I just want to do right by this genre since it is one of those genres that I have also been influenced by during my upbringing, but I never really went out of my way to listen to it. I hope to do justice for my first attempt at the genre, and I want my coproducer to be proud of it as well :D

As for other projects, I'm working on a Hardcore and Old Skool bootleg of [ Tay Zonday - Chocolate Rain ] as well as a UK Happy Hardcore collaboration that has a heavier influence from chiptune (possibly, we're still in the early stages).

Nothing To Lose

All lives don't matter 'til the black ones do.

A few months back, I heard the original song in a meme, got a huge dose of nostalgia, and watched the original music video. And, after listening to it a few times, I noticed that the lyrics had a hidden message on top of that infectious rhythm. Considering the rise of activism regarding police brutality, I saw this as an opportunity to make an anthem for the fighting spirit of those who dare to see the world for what it could be. 

However, I find it unfortunate the extremities that some of these people went to because they think it is a more effective approach compared to other means. I wouldn't want brutality on either side, and I don't want this movement (or any for that matter) to lose its soul and sense of identity to achieve their goals. How we win matters, and Ender's Game taught me that (at the very least).

This is a collaboration between Mochirin and myself, where we wanted to mess around with meshing Chiptune and UK Happy Hardcore in a similar fashion that occurs in JCore. The end result is different than what we were intending to do, but we're happy with the convenient "accidents" that occurred during production.

I really appreciated the new tricks as well as some of the approaches that we gave each other when working on this project, which I'm looking forward to implementing in my future projects.
