Nachdem sie an einem besonderen Ort im Wendland ein spontanes B2B gespielt haben, wussten sie direkt, dass die Chemie stimmt und da noch mehr kommen wird. Von klassischem Disco über dreckigeren Tech-House bis zu einer Prise Eurodance kann bei den beiden alles dabei sein. Bei dieser Ausgabe des Resonanzcast konzentrieren sie sich aber auf ihren gemeinsamen musikalischen Kern und schicken euch mit einem knackig gemixten House-Set Richtung Wochenende.

We are proud to present our first release dedicated to Amsterdam Dance Event. Volume One: ADE presents a sonic palette of songs from the freshest up and coming talent coming through the Eton Messy ranks, made up of newcomers Beau Lyons & Dinks, label regular Ros T and channel featured Semedo. 

If you follow the Youtube channel you may be familiar with Semedo who we featured earlier this year and have tipped for big things. Their previous track 'Disco Belly' has amassed a jaw breaking 10 million streams across Spotify & Apple Music alone and spent an impressive 12 weeks in the U.K. House Spotify Playlist. Outside of streaming they have been championed by BBC Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong, Danny Howard & Monki as well as Dj support from the likes of Gorgon City & Fatboy Slim, which even saw a video of him playing it at Amnesia which went viral across social media. 

Ros T is someone we have been keeping a close eye on for a while with tracks on two of our previous 'In:Season Compilations'. His latest offering suggests that he is definitely not a one trick pony. It's clear his residency at Groove in the highlands of Scotland is where he has been developing his craft and playing an active roll in creating its very own house scene. You can tell Ros is focused on carving out the Ros T Sound. 

Beau Lyons is relatively unknown to us before this track. He started submitting tracks to us a while back and this one instantly stuck with us. The minimal tech grooves on this record are a clear example of what is bubbling in the underground dance world at the moment. We are glad to be a part of his unique journey. 

DINKS is a two man project from Germany, which has founded for the love of Disco and House. DINKS is a producer and a DJ, each does what he does best. The productions reflect nostalgia for old disco tracks and modern Chicago sound. As soon as they sent demos over for us to listen to, we were on board!

DINKS - Don't Look Further (Eton Messy)

Check the 1h live recording of the set at the club Klunkerkranich in Berlin. The atmosphere during the set was super positive, and there was an amazing energy at the dance floor. It was real fun to play there and the set turned out to be a real disco set. Recorded with a Tascam DR05, 2x CDJ 2000, 2 Technics 1210, and a DJM 900.
Sorry for some vinyl noise, but vinyl sounds better.

This time they roll up with #Changing which the label snapped up...as soon as they sent it across, Eton Messy were grooving and hope you do to! ‘Changing’ has a similar upbeat feel to it as ‘Don’t Look Further’ but is packed with a familiar sample and feel good brass cuts.

I played a 2 hour set from 9pm to 11 pm at the lovely Schrottpourri floor. It was a hot night and the atmosphere was extremely energetic.
