Tulpa was created during our fifth open demo submission phase where the over 150 members of Aedi were prompted to freely submit one of their tracks.

All submissions were gathered in an anonymous playlist and voted for by everyone in the community. The title and artwork went through similar democratic processes.

A second outing by French modular enthusiasts Atomic moog (@atomic-moog) on the Delsin Cameron series. On Blue Scale they present four more works of their quirky noodle experiments. It represents their irresistible grooves in optima forma, while keeping it wonky and alive. 'Blue Scale' and 'Landing Point' got that steady and never ending after-hours flow while 'Data 100f' and 'Impulse' are mesmerizing deep dives exploring a more broken side of the pair.

We’re excited to give you a first taste of the forthcoming Fading Obelisk EP, crafted by Crescent's co-founder - @labyrinthinee. On the A-side, "Fading" pulls you into ethereal pads and hypnotic textures, while Obelisk takes a darker turn with deep toms and haunting harps.

On the B-side, @Kontinum returns to the label with a superb remix of the A1 track, and legendary producer @forestonstasys makes his Crescent debut, reworking Obelisk with fresh grooves and sharp percussions.

Pressed on transparent, hand-made dubplates and cut in the UK, the EP officially releases on February 13th - pre-orders are live now!

This 6 tracker, comprehensive of the young producer’s versatility and elegance, shows us the depth of a carefully crafted universe. From the undulating half-time meandering of “Cleanse” to the unrelenting, oblique approaches to groove in broken techno of “Focus”, “Burn” and “Give”, all the way into the hyperspeed percussive buzz of “Build”, this EP is a demonstration of the complex sound puzzles within Ilayruni’s music.

This stellar tour de force gets rounded off with Toki Fuko’s reinterpretation of “Cleanse”, taking the name in earnest, it provides us with a welcome craneal massage in sonic form.

Terra Firma adopts a progressive approach, built on a solid foundation of striking bass and a steady groove. The structure develops gradually, with subtle ins and outs of layers, maintaining the focus on dynamics and tension throughout the track.

The rhythmic elements are precise, and the synthesizers maintain an atmosphere, reinforcing the stability proposed by the title.

Terra Firma acts as an anchor point within the album, offering breath and solidity without losing the connection with the dense and introspective aesthetic of the project.
