Kel Passada Part 2 by Dj Diogo S

Dj Diogo S. (Aka Diogo Silva), born in Cascais (Portugal), is one of the latest Dj's of today's African rhythms.  Marked, predominantly, by the presence of this genre of music in his teens, distinguishes himself for being eternally in love by older African themes. "They are timeless," states DJ Diogo S.
His interest in music arises from an early age, which leads him to join a school, where he took lessons and learned how to play the drums. Still young and seeking to acquire new knowledge and to “decode” some facts concerning this area, he decides to simulate radio programs with friends.
As for fun, arises the fascination for “Djing” and with the incessant desire of learning notions that lead him to progress, Dj Diogo S. became a self-taught, challenging himself. Later, with the aim to improve the technique that he was developing he decides to enroll himself in specialized education in this area and attends the Dj course in PRODJ.
He highlighted his musical trends in 2011, upon an invitation to complement a team of online radio. With this proposal Dj Diogo S. held a weekly rubric with the “Timeless” program (created by himself), predominantly with ancient African rhythms.
In the year 2012, he assumes himself a Dj and is invited for the first time, to play in public. Since then, he has been an integral part of the poster of the most varied African parties, held in Lisbon and surroundings.
           In 2013, develops a project, entitled “Los Tarraxa Productions”, in partnership with Dj Adon (Madrid) and Dj Paparazzi (London). This project, with a distinct concept, has as goal Tarraxinha musical production and the conceiving of three parties, one in each of the cities where they live. In their events, they prime by the presence of special guests, from DJs to professional dancers.
           In the year 2014, starts the “Afro Sweet Party” project in partnership with Dj Èzotic. Afro Sweet Party is an Afro party concept, developed in order to provide nights of natural environment and varied musical selection, which has occurred in various clubs of Lisbon, among them the Barrio Latino and the Futungo. In the same year, Dj Diogo S. expands his work at international level, playing at parties, festivals and congresses in countries like Ireland and Spain.
          His audacity to embrace the different challenges which he has faced throughout his professional career, made him achieve unexpected realities. “Mulher minha não nega” a result of his debut in co-production, has been recognized by many different artists in their performances and choreographies at international level.
         His work as a Dj has been distinguished by its musical selection and its harmonious mix. Dj Diogo S. wishes more and more to take full advantage of what he really likes to make, being always attentive to the latest musical news and the type of audience that receives it. Picky by nature, Dj Diogo S. has done the best to produce a work of excellence.
