We could spend the next three paragraphs banging on about the monumental impact our first release ‘We Do What We Want’ had, but to be totally honest with you, we are tired of the track now and just want to move on to the raft of equally amazing music we have lined up for release on We Are The Brave.

However, in case you were living under a rock this summer, the key facts you should make a note of are as follows: it was the unofficial anthem for ravers from Hideout Festival to Creamfields. Annie Mac went mental for it on Radio 1. We got snapchats from school kids buzzing off the track and tweets from retailers playing it in their shops. It was even heard in KFC! And our soundcloud stream went into virtual meltdown clocking up 315K listens in under three months.

So yeah, not much to live up to… but you know what? We Are The Brave, we do what we want… and we want to get on to release number two! It’s called Friday Night Dancing. It’s by Alan Fitzpatrick. Skream is on the remix. Nuff said!

Now Fabio and the MOOD founder connect once again with a stunning three-track debut label release. Adding more fuel to his on-point fire on Matador's Rukus earlier this summer, Fabio rolls out another profound, entrancing and vast excursion.

'Pulsar' sees Florido fluctuating, folding and unfolding in his deepest mind state as two sinewy acid tendrils entwine and unravel through a deep undulating bass groove with compelling effect. 'Connection' subverts this entirely in classic Fabio style; upping the tempo, texture and terse sense of momentum, the acid bedrock buzzes like a hornets nest as more percussive layers and sweeping alien FX soar and scorch across the spectrum building with a breath-taking state of contemporary techno oblivion. Finally Fabio brings us back down to reality with 'Underneath'. A warm, measured groove brushed with grainy chords, a palpitating bass/kick fusion, tense percussive elements and a slinky naked acid line flexing and arching throughout the centre of the composition; it's a perfect counter that brings both his icy minimalism and evergreen sense of momentum together in way all his best EPs manage to do. Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.
