Fellow residents of DJMag’s Top 100, Vini Vici have been trailblazing psytrance across the electronic circuit since the early 00s. In 2016 the Israeli duo’s remix of ‘Hilight Tribe – Free Tibet’ made history as the first ever psytrance track to chart in Beatport’s top 10 at #2. Since then, they’ve released with the likes of Steve Aoki, NERVO, Alok, Timmy Trumpet and even scored platinum with Armin Van Buuren on single ‘Great Spirit.’ Undoubtably the kings of psytrance, Vini Vici now strive to bring the genre to the masses through their label imprint Alteza Records.

Contributing her prowess as a producer best-known for high-octane hits, MATTN brings her big-room sound to ‘Café Del Mar.’ The Belgian DJ has graced the stages of Creamfields and Tomorrowland with her unbeatable energy adorned by fans. Tracks such as ‘Children’ and her take on the infamous ‘Logical Song,' have soared MATTN’s worldwide streams into the millions. In more recent times, the multi-faceted artist has excelled her creativity as vocalist and delved into the realms of deep house.

To Armin van Buuren, the sound of music has become a natural high, a sanctuary, and the stimulus in life. With each year of his career passing, his role in electronic dance music has become more important. If anything, he inspires music lovers with his weekly radio show. Based on that show, is the annual compilation series, loved and anticipated by fans, music lovers and dance addicts. So here it is, A State of Trance 2014, mixed and compiled by no one less than Armin van Buuren.

2014 is going to be a year to remember for the Dutch DJ and his fans. Within the course of 6 weeks, he’ll celebrate the 650th episode of the A State of Trance radio show with no less than 9 events in cities all across the globe. Broadcast live, these celebrations reach out to millions of listeners. Next to that, Armin also hosts his ‘Armin Only – Intense’ world tour this year, with more than 20 dates in cities such as New York, Sydney, Johannesburg, Moscow and more. Finally, the long wait is over! As some of you already suspected, the follow up to Nightshift was already a few months amongst us! It all started when Markus dropped it as an ID at the Koolhaus during his Toronto World Tour. From that point he played it in almost every set around the globe. From the Electric Zoo after party in New York to the Arma Music Hall in Moskou. From Global Gathering Seoul, Korea to the amazing A State Of Trance ‘The Invasion’ Closing Party at the Privilege in Ibiza. The track even got played twice at the DJ MAG Top 100 Party in London last month, and the list continues… With all this, it’s more than obvious he couldn’t wait too long anymore with the announcement :)
